At around 7:20, something happened that I am really interested in. Elgin escapes after getting the kill on the Novaria but then goes back into the fight for another go. He disengages almost instantly due to his low HP, but as he runs away, Helcurt's passive kicks in to (in tandem with Regen) heal him at an alarmingly fast rate. I imagine that under the right circumstances, or with some refinement to either playstyle or kit, Helcurt could end up being a very unique assassin. Currently the standard among assassins is that true to their name, they assassinate a target and then get out. Depending on how Helcurt develops from here though, he could end up playing more like a skirmisher than a standard assassin, where instead of one single swoop to assassinate a target, he instead goes in and out multiple times to repeatedly harass enemies throughout an extended clash, using his mobility and regen to take trades, wearing the enemy down or breaking up their formation instead of killing a target outright. The revamp is still fresh in development so we can't say for sure how he'll turn out just yet, but since the comments so far are considering him overpowered, that's one way I could think of that the developers may try to balance him: by keeping his burst damage low so that it takes multiple sweeps to get a kill.

That kind of game play is hard in MLBB, the enemy won't just stay around waiting for your ambush, the map is also too small for that, probably will work in Early to Mid game where your targeting a hero without a blink skill but even that is still hard since Jungler Gameplay always focused on farming in the jungle from Early to mid, I think the only hero who can play like that is Natalia and the only reason it work is because she is a roam.

With a more skirmish-based hero, you get to bring the fight to them instead of waiting for someone to step out of position as a traditional assassin would. You get to actively harass enemies not because they don't know you're there, but because they legitimately just can't do anything about your presence when you have so much mobility and longevity. That's one of the reasons Tank Lancelot was a thing for a while, and he doesn't have the excuse of "because roam". Ling to a lesser extent also has a similar strategy, where his mobility allows him to exert his presence all over the map, while being absurdly slippery and difficult to take down. The map is too small? I disagree, if anything the size of the map allows mobile heroes such to set the pace really well. A small map allows a high mobility hero to have presence over a ridiculous amount of space, and it's not like the map is so cramped that a hero just gets trapped in an engagement, especially not one that can blink past walls. The only reason this skirmishing type of playstyle isn't so common in my opinion is because we just don't have the heroes for it. Natalia's invisibility takes a couple seconds to reset and she doesn't have any natural source of longevity. Lancelot's dashing isn't infinite, and it takes a couple of seconds for recovery from Guardian Helm to kick in if it's in use. Ling for all his mobility is always on a timer because of his energy requirements. This new Helcurt though? Stealth returns as soon as he's out of sight and his entire kit is spammable, giving him the immense uptime and consistency that these other assassins haven't quite perfected. Right now, he's the closest fit for this playstyle. Again, he's early into development, so maybe once everything's been finalized we'll find out that it's just not meant to be, but as for now, I think it's a very nice possibility.

@@lesmoonwalker Lancelot Tank can do that because He is more sustainable and can go in and out easily with his first and ult, Beside most people use Lancelot Tank is because he more sustainable so he can stay longer in war especially in War for Lord, from my experience, all they do is targeting MM or Mage, and if it's failed he didn't go back since the enemy will ready for back up, so it's not exactly "Harrasing" the enemy, it just a Failed ambush. Lancelot also have Immune and a lot of Blink Skill, it's hard to CC him, while Helcurt is prety much predictible since the only blink skill he has is his First skill. I guess you can target an enemy who go Solo but it's pretty rare in Late Game, Enemy's Damage is also too huge for Helcurt in Late Game that's why i said it only work in Early to Mid, but that kind of Playstyle will make you stay too long in Lane, and it's bad for Assasins since they need to Farm not to mention the enemy can also go to the tower, and if the enemy has a CC or Blink Skill then it just stupid if you still try to harass them

@@lesmoonwalker it's better to make his Gameplay more like Finisher Type like Karina, targeting Enemy who have Low HP, kill them so your passive can kick in, then you turn invisible and gone, so you can target more enemy or just retreat. More simple and i think it's also better, his passive also make him a good chaser and can rotate faster, which is great for this Gameplay.

Sure Lancelot has multiple dashes and immune skills, but Helcurt runs so fast during Stealth that he can engage and disengage just by running, saving his blink skill for when he's in a real pinch. Its cooldown is also no problem since Stealth speeds its cooldown up enough to make it spammable. As for that kind of playstyle forcing you to stay too long in lanes, that's exactly why you need a hero that can rotate fast. Current Helcurt is already a pretty fast jungler, and I don't see that changing with this Revamped Helcurt, the difference though is in movement speed, which makes Revamped Helcurt just that much better. He can afford to spend more time in-lane because he spends less time getting there. It's the same logic as cutting lanes with heroes like Benedetta or Joy. Tower-hugging is a concern if you've revealed your presence, sure, but Assassins in general are able to dive enemies (within reason) due to their in-and-out playstyle, and with natural regeneration Helcurt would be able to trade his HP away with far more confidence, repeatedly even. It's also nice that you brought up Karina's reaping playstyle, because I would say that's already an inherent quality that a skirmisher-type assassin can offer, and I do agree it's very effective, but I still think a skirmisher-type of assassin is more flexible. Think about it, an assassin like Karina can chain kills on enemies that are roughly half health. For a skirmisher-type that would take let's say 2-4 repetitions to get a kill on their own, they can still finish off in one go if that enemy is already low from engaging a teammate, but in addition to that, the Revamped Helcurt would also be able to just get the enemy to that point of low health on his own because the regen just makes him much more suited to taking trades than your usual assassin. Aamon's regen actually allows him to do the same if he has to, it's just that it's never practical for the reason you have brought up-it takes him too much time-but since Helcurt is more mobile, I believe it wouldn't be as much of a problem.

when you ult right after you pounce on the enemy, stealth mode will activate meaning you can CC them twice with the 1st skill he is very similar to nat now

If we think about it the the lost of the silence effect its a major buff cause when he was hitted by a cc skill sometime you would get that moment to escape and it was better even in his ult cause with scare effect if you target an hero he can have the opportunity to dodge it thanks to this 2 details of the scare effect: first detail enemys will move all in different directions so it becomes more difficult for us helcurt user to hit more enemies and this will get some enemies to have a chance to not get hit by the 2 skill and second detail is that you can sometime miss an enemy cause of it and someone can say "but i can aim so no problem" but maybe if we are in a streassful situation we could miss it. But for the rest its a really good buff i will miss this current version and the old one too i always asked my self why they have to nerf the passive it wasnt too strong after all every hero that hitted him with cc would get silenced it wasnt too good😂😅🫣.

This Revamp adjustment from montoon is pretty smart. Since his ultimate can obscure the vision of the enemy so they make the adjustment that can make advantage of it and that was stealth mode not only all of his skill are all connected than before it also compliments his character as the abyss of darkness and design is very well done. That’s the remodeland revamp we would like to see that given you the thought that his original appearance is enough no skin needed just like what they did to aurora.

This is very creative. A natalia like gameplay but still different in his own ways. With the remove of silence when he received cc ,now i can use Franco ult on him. Before this I will always get cancelled. And most of the time when i use Khufra its always messed up. With hp healing and no mana consumption, I dont think he will ever recall to base for generating. With this he can even play as exp lane to some point rotating when team needs, get a kill and went back to his lane again I think this new HC really suits his nickname "The Nightcrawler".

They removed the satisfying sound on his stinger at full stack, i love hearing that sound because it's so satisfying

OP.... I can smell new helcurt skin coming up.

Now he is a mix of different heroes form different games. His passive is just like slarks ultimate passive in dota, the shadow cloud whatever it is called is like from a skill of a champion in league of legend, and his game play is like natalia, poke and hide in the bush.

I hope moonton make more heroes like helcurt or beastlike characters instead of human all the time. Heroes with unique design is the most intriguing hero that I would love to play.

I have a unique hero concept for it. Her name is Lilian (if you've read Nolan's lore, you'll know who she is) and she sacrificed her life so that Nolan will have more time to stop the Calamity. Here the concept is: When Nolan thought that Calamity is finally gone, it used the soul of Lilian to turn her into a void-like being (something similar to Yve and Novaria but scarier) so that she can continue what Calamity is going to do. Upon arriving the Land of Dawn, she found herself in Laboratory 1718, and she was trapped inside of a highly advanced robotic armor [It's something like that ghost-like character in an armor (forgot his name) from Fullmetal Alchemist]. The armor synchronized with her, allowing the armor to use her void energy for highly destructive attacks. I feel like it's unique by itself. This concept can not only tell a glimpse of what really happened to Lilian after her sacrifice, but it can also expand the lore of Eruditio's nemesis, Laboratory 1718. If you've read this far. At least compared to LoL, ML does release non human heroes more frequently. Tanks are abundant with nonhuman heroes so I think they should do it for other roles too. Look at Ornn being stuck as their recent monster hero since 2017 and that streak only broken when Naafiri arrived in 2023.

God damn this is what i was waiting for, when helecurt came out, i was quite good at him, but as time went on, new heroes came, and ways to counter helecurt started to show up, I just stopped playing him The biggest problems i saw were that if you don't have his stingers ready, you'd have to spend some time basic attacking enemies before using it, and the fact it was incredibly hard for him to escape after entering a fight, since his first skill has a long cooldown he'd essentially kill one person then die cuz he can't run away These changes will definitely being me back to playing him

Stealth is my main strategy in pretty much any games that i played, so this might br my next fav hero ☺️

Very interesting revamp to helcurt,I personally think is a really good buff considering he has small cc, francos passive, and an actual invisibility though playstyle will not change in the the slightest. He definitely can be strong in the current meta but hopefully not bannable because i can sense there will be 85% chance of getting banned 7-8/10 games

I'm glad they revamp helcurt. I used to feel helpless sometimes after using his 2nd skill, But now i don't have to run away while facing many enemies.

Helcurt has risen from the death abyss to avenge moonton and scare us to death again

With Helcurt's new passive and skills, they gave him proper poking abilities! I had this strategy I call Hit and Run Helcurt. You can use that mm talent thing that boosts your mvspeed after a basic atk (Forgot what it's called) First skill onto an enemy and use second skill then move away out of sight, maybe even inside a bush would be better. Then go back to do it again but this time you finish them. What's good about this is that you can always do it again and again.

I think it’s more likely people will run more damage on Helcurt like the emblem lethal ignition since his passive has a shadow smoke effect when he kills an enemy which gives him a lot of movement speed. Also I think discovered does already have some pretty nice movement speed to do hit and run with already.

Another good advantage with his passive! He can almost never be ambushed! You're usually always on stealth mode now, when you randomly get out of stealth mode in the jungle it means there is an enemy or some trap/ward (Sele S1, Popol S3, etc.) hiding in the bush!☝️

helcurt went from a bed bug to a littleral nightmare

This is literally the most insane revamp ever 💀

It's a great revamp, but I think the Sky Guardian Helmet feature of his passive is a bit broken when going in and out. Maybe change it instead to which he heals 5% of his lost hp 3 times when going stealth, then it stops after that. Also his s1 terrify becomes spammable when going in and out of bushes with his passive, the terrify should have a seperate cooldown after using it that's not affected by his passive.

He is op after this revamp in every way. With hp healing and no mana consumption, I dont think he will ever recall to base for generating.

They should “adjust” by making him lose health when in vision. Just like masha’s first skill. Which will basically counter the buff of health regeneration in stealth mode

I think this was not mentioned but helcurt's second skill is activating the item passiv like corrosion sycth's and dhs's

@@lyao4320 nah its the idea The passive, its for rotate faster and heal after combat, the conceal is for reposition after you get a kill Imagine how much you can do if its not that simple Like, conceal after you kill someone in the middle of team fight Or, heal after unsuccesfully ganking someone, like idk, hanabi 1st skill is faster now, and shes fed, oh how do old helcurt kill her? Full stack 2nd skill and non of the damage go through, bruh she buy armor Oh yeah, are you epic?

Thats not from Lol(league of legends) its from Dota 2(Slark's passive) the literary copy and paste it

So the passive is basically Slark's passive with an opposite effect upon being in vision. That's pretty neat. That said though, that 1st skill in Stealth Mode is pretty busted.

I hope they retain silenced coz terrify would scatter enemies and u can whiff ur second skill Edit: You cannot hard counter cc anymore coz terrify just pushes back away the enemies a little bit and they can use skill again after a few moments.

i was thinking the same, but now i realize the terrify effect just make the enemy walk away or back off a little bit from you.. so enemy position or direction is at the same line from where it was just a bit further

This Revamp is actually Better than the first Original if you think about it this has a higher Dps since lower Cooldown on his stinger and blink and more consistent CC that doesn't rely too much on ult can help gank and secure kills in early game and on top of that You can rotate faster and jungle faster don't have to worry about stacks anymore you can and if we look about it closely if the mechanic for his stealth mode is that he is revealed/seen by enemy units such as towers and minions, if my theory is correct you can see if someone is trying to steal a buff from a bush

Helcurt roam will be op once this got released into the og server. Sure he lacks the intiation but his ult removes vision and this revamp makes it easier to kill and run makes it scary for heroes. Scarier than Saber or Kadita

The new Passive is so much like LoL Evelynn's. But I love the creativity to still make his version of this Passive to make it more unique and fun. I can't wait for it to release.
