the tesseract needs special divices to open a big enough portal for armies like the one in the avengers or the infinity gauntlet , but the one in odin's vault was a fake . Gungnir can summon bifrost but not on its own, Odin force did the job , its just a tool to cast the spell . even the hofund cannot summon bifrost if the wielder cant use dark magic . The only weapon can summon the bifrost on its own is stormbreaker .

@@anhnt6940 1. No, it doesn't. At least, not according to the MCU, since it never presented an information that would confirm your defense. So we rule it out. 2. Wasn't a fake. Watch Infinity War. 3. The spear was never called in the MCU by its Norse name, so please do not insult Scandinavian history by referring to the spear by its original name in regards to this joke of a film. 4. Odinforce doesn't exist as a well-explained concept in the MCU, so please, spare us of this "I'm gonna make up my own story" rhetoric. Movies should imply the story, not fans should make it up. But even if we was to apply comic-book basis for the movie (which we don't have to, since this movie is absolutely nothing like the comics), you do know that Gungnir is where Odinforce is collected at in the comics? Gungnir should have Odinforce by default. And Loki opened the Bifrost in the first movie with it, and he was never shown to have the force. 5. Yeah, and I wonder when that was explained... Oh wait, it wasn't. Never explained, so I call BS on that one.

Silly Hela doesn't know that she can open the bifrost with odins staff that was right beside her in the throne room.. Loki opened the bifrost with it for the frost giants in thor 1 and he also used it later when he tryed to destroy Jotenhiem.

It's funny because Hela is the one villian in the MCU whose story is justified. Got imprisioned not for being evil but because Odin had a change of heart and she didn't support the change, was the rightful heir to the throne and was willing to integrate into society without violence but was attacked on site and even made the worthless janitor her right hand man because he was the only person who actually decided to bow down to her. Like she obviously was a tyrant that needed to be stopped but if you look at the energy that Thor expresses in the first movie, you can see the resemblance in mentalites except Odin corrected Thor's conquerer behavior before it became too late and he used Hela's conquerer energy to help him take over the 9 realms before pulling a complete 180.

Wishing job interviews were this easy

I think the reason she wants to get the Hofund back is because it's the most convenient way. Remember, Hela can create portals to teleport herself but not the entire army .The space stone too, it can teleport a small group of people no prob but will need special devices to maintain the portal for armies to march through like in the avengers. Lastly Gungnir, it CAN NOT summon bifrost on its own. Odin did it . He used his Odinforce to cast the bifrost . The spear is merely a tool . Even with the Hofund , the user must know how to use dark magic if they want to summon bifrost with it . The only weapon can summon bifrost on its own is Stormbreaker . It's the strongest weapon in the history of Asgard.

Imagine having your job be a YT commentator who writes nonsense defending plot holes in terrible MCU movies. Hofund?? What is that, it's not a thing. Second, her so-called army consists of twenty bad CGI NPCs. Lastly, Loki and Odin both used the spear instead of the sword to open the portal. Odinforce doesn't exist in the MCU. What dark magic - where and when was any of this nonsense ever explained? MCU soyboy, the filmmaker (which, I know, Taika Waititi never was) has to address plot holes, not random apologist comments on KZread.

Heimdall used dark magic to summon the Bifrost to transport Hulk to Earth. Odin used dark magical energy to transport Thor to Earth

I love how she wants to recreate the grandeur and might of the past but she only has people like Scourge to work with which makes her strugle seem, pathetic and funny. She's no Odin and he's no executionar material, but still she gives it the ole college try.

We were robbed of scenes of Helas armies waging wars abroad. Even a small montage would have been nice. I suspect either they lacked the budget or it would be too dark for a comedy movie.

But I believe he was absolutely proud to know that Hela goddess of death has been defeated even if it means unleashing surtur the god of the fire Giants upon Asgard.
