The "hate" for him man wol was having in those thousand of years indicating that she truly loves him. The man that she loves betray her in a most painful way. That's why she can't even say his name in those years. She hesitated to kill him that's why chung myung just stab the sword to him. The expression she shows, didn't expecting him to do that shock her. When he says that he wanted her to be his bride. She immediately push him away when he hug her because at that moment her heart waver once again for him and then he was in that kind of position. Man wol telling him not to die just yet because he still need to see how she would kill the important people to him is just an excuse because she already decided to just hate him, not accepting the fact the she was still truly inlove with him. She also can't accept and very afraid that chan seung is his reincarnation because she think she fell inlove once again to the man who hurt her the most. After all, the most painful betrayal is from the one you love.

I AGREE MOST WITH YOUU.. Lots of viewer doesn’t understand the real Manwol situation and keep blaming her for leaving Chung Myung and choose Chan Sung.. They might dont really see the grudges hold by Manwol is beacuse she actually love Chung Myung with all her heart but it’s Chung Myung who’d betray her (in order to save her life).. Still all Manwol see is Chung Myung betrayed her as he doesnt being honest towards Manwol about his real intuition behind his actions

Chung Myung selflessly sacrificed for IU. He didn't leave her and stayed for almost 1 300 years. That love of Chung Myung to Man Weol is really strong. Their story is one of the most painful ones that I have watched. I can't get over it. Can't even rewatch it becausem heart can't accept it. Lee do Hyun and IU's acting is superb!

It granted her wish and a man magically appeared. the man was confused, baffled and upset about the sudden change. But the girl was happy that finally, she's not alone. They spent some time together, slowly falling in love, spending beautiful moments with eachother, knowing everything about eachother, even their scars and their own stars of hope. but the man was also slowly getting distant as reality dawned upon him. he realized that he's not ever coming back to where he came from, his true home. the girl noticed day by day how the man was crying under the moonlight when she's supposed to be fast asleep. she felt horrible as she had fallen inlove deeply. The full moon came, and the girl decided what to wish for. She wished for the mans happiness, the man to be where he belongs. Slowly the man disappeared with tears of happiness and sadness in his eyes yet, he knows it's bound to be. The girl was left again, all alone, under the moonlight, crying. she stared at the ocean and slowly walked against the waves, depper and deeper, until she couldn't go to the surface anymore. *End* thank you all for the compliments! i really appreciate it❤️

This song has been my favorite ever since I've watched HDL. My stepdad heard me singing this song before I sleep, and he liked how my voice fits in this song. As he also watched HDL, he requested me to do a song cover when I finally have the time. I tried recording it- but I was such a perfectionist. I always do another recording until I give up. My stepdad was still anticipating for a song cover. But he recently died last January 14, 2021 at 4pm because of cardiac arrest. I never got to do the song cover for him. Now that I tried listening to this song, it always reminds me of him. I'm so frustrated that he didn't get to hear me sing this song one more time for him. I tried singing this song but my chest feels tight. I miss him. I wish I could've sung this earlier for him. But I know he's now in the right place. He won't have to suffer anymore, but I miss him so much.

This song is for Cheong-myeong and Man-wol 😭. So painfully beautiful. The writers have carefully shown how an unconditional love would be like. Cheong-myeong branded himself a sinner before getting through everything. This beautiful song was used when she saw the reincarnated version of yeonwoo, and he stared back at her, probably not recognizing her but feeling emotions of longing and the unknown recognition that he should know her, while IU teared up... it was such a beautiful and well acted scene without words and short too, but it quickly and easily became one of my favorite scenes out of all the episodes so far because of the emotions and song

You know Chung Myung really loved her a lot... those 1000 years were a torment for him too. He waited for her for 1000 years and in the end when he offered his hand to go to that bridge in after life.. she turned away... I feel so bad for him..🥺😢😭😭😭

I started out watching HDL because it reminded me and comforted of a lost Husband who passed away. It gave me hope that no matter what, I would see him again, even if i didn’t know it at the time. Then I eventually opened my heart to someone I swore I wouldn’t do. I had promised myself that I would never allow anyone to take my husbands place. But after years of denial, I let the other guy in. He was a perfect man, and even re-watched this series with me. He trustedmy word as to why I praised the show, despite him not being into Kdrama/any drama lol. He knew it brought me comfort and why it brought me comfort and he wanted to see it for himself. But as of recently, I ruined everything I had built with him. That doesn’t mean I still don’t feel comfort from this show or the OST, but it does kind of sting a little bit. Despite the stinging pain, to me - it’s still worth watching and listening to the show and music because though it hurts, it’s comforting as well so it evens ou. I just wish the sisters who wrote the show, the actors who portrayed the rolls, and artists that were the backbone to the show knew how influential, crucial, and life altering the show they made is to some people!

this song fits Chung Myung the most, like it actually belongs to him and tell his story the best, which is probably why this song always play whenever Chung Myung shows up ;-;

I don't know but.. I cried so hard listening to this.. It's maybe not really important for some people, but to lose an animal, is really... Sad. It might be funny to some people, but I losed my cat.. Like, she was so important for me... And listening to this, makes me feel so sad..like, it hurts a lot. Some people might say, 'it was just an animal, like buy a new one' but it's not like that. Absolutely not. She was more important to me, than many people in my life. She always tried to make me happy, when I felt sad. She had always made me smile, never lied to me, never treated me bad. She loved me the way I was. But now, she's gone. Forever. And.. I feel alone now.

She sings so well and is full of emotion I can't believe she was a rapper Edit: The lyrics are on another level

This is the only drama I found where ALL ost is beautiful and soothing 😊......meaning has another level😣

Why do I feel that this song is how Chungmyung feels for Manwol back when the both of them are alive? Becuz Manwol doesn't really notices that Chungmyung liked her (hence the "can you see my heart") and to protect her, he couldn't say anything but instead let Manwol kill him in hopes that she doesn't hesitate to do so. "I feel sick and cry becuz of this love" at first I thought this might be from Manwol's side but now I think that it's Chungmyung not able to tell her what happened and his true feelings due to the sudden turn of events Mann I'm just really sad, the last few eps made me cry at least 10 times😭😭

nah it's his POV after he became the firefly. Man Wol couldn't see his heart because she didn't know he became the firefly. She didn't know his feelings means she didn't know about his deal with Yeon Woo etc

No matter how many times I listened to this song, the feelings of sadness always comes to me. Feels like an unrequited love always there to haunt me. Couldn't help but this song always reminds me of someone whom I couldn't tell my feelings for her back then.

The time i hear this song it makes me feel sad , I feel that pain of parting with someone in this world, the one who is there for me. My life partner that i don't know. The one i love but i don't know who that person is. I don't know if it's just me. But this song hurts so bad. I just can't express.

In this complete drama...I most loved the fact that chun myoung stayed beside jang man woel as a small light , all these years just to protect her.He didnt even choose to go to afterlife...He too. suffered a lot ater man woel..but at the end they didn t even hugged just smiled ...Can such love only exist in drama..?

Even you don't need subtitle....this song will touch your heart even if you don't know korean

The composer contained the melody of the soul in the sheet music and this singer delivered the soul well with her own unique voice and emotion. Heize..💙👏👏👏⚘

Gummy and Chungha have been confirmed to be the next singers to release OSTs. :) Next to Goblin, this will be my favorite OST playlist on repeat no doubt.

I don't know why, ''Youth of may'' reminded me of this ost! I didn’t cried this much after watching tha last part of "Moon lovers".[maybe cuz I knew the ending] But I cried my eyes out after watching the Death scene in " Youth of may"........ Like, she was left in that lonely forest after getting shot. And died while seeing the stars. He searched her like a mad until he got old. At the last, her skeleton was found. Lee do hyun acted in both Hotel del luna and Youth of may. For some reason I like him too much.

Man Woel and Chung Myung's story deserved more. This is their song. Sad and full of longing for something that couldn't be. Their story is what truly got me into the drama in the first place. The goodbye to Chung Myung's character felt a little unfair to me. Not as grand as it truly should've been. It rather felt a little rushed and kind of cold-hearted on Mon Woel's end. Lee Do-hyun did an amazing job with the character, I hope he gets recognised more for his work. I loved this plotline from the drama the most - their love story that lasted for 1300 years with immense sadness and loneliness for both. I loved that sadness, if you know what I mean. Heize's voice is made for this song. It wouldn't feel the same with anyone else's voice.

I just finished watching Hotel Del Luna and this song is stuck in my head. I can't help but cry when listening to it🥺. It brings out all sorts of emotions.

Hotel del Luna wasn't just one of the best KDrama in history, but it also had the some of the best OST ever!!! This song and Taeyeon's "A Poem Called You" are just so amazing!!!

some people remember songs by their lyrics, but for me, i don't. i simply remember them by the way how the song makes me feel. right now, it makes me feel sad, lonely, sort of a melancholy. someday, somewhere, i'll meet you as i'm pretty sure our connections are woven in the moon. just look up, i'll be watching the moon with you, not beside you, but somewhere, and we'll watch it together someday.

This song pierces my heart because it's always playing when Mr Firefly appears. Lee do Hyun and IU, I really love their character but it was so sad to see them not ending up together. It is so painful like this song.

I haven’t seen the drama but this song alone makes me want to watch it, Heize has impressed me once again.

I think this song represent's Chung Myung feelings after seeing Man Wol falling in love to another guy.

You're lying to yourself if you think that this isn't one of the most emotional songs ever 😭😭😭😭 I swear you can play this song infront of me 10 years later and i would still cry like a fuckin baby
