I'll add, though, it was hilarious seeing Heidi's face go blank when Jenna asked her about what she does to not break, and then says, "You know what **I** do?" There was a behind the scenes showing the rehearsals somewhere and Mikey looked just like he did in the sketch and she laughed every time. 😂

I don’t understand why she feared she’d get fired. The best SNL sketches are the ones when the actors break and uncontrollably laugh Look at SNLs most popular videos. The top videos are almost all sketches where they break!

Tbh the dialogue in that skit was below their standard. Their looks and her genuine human reaction to them made it iconic. Felt like the skit existed solely to put her in that spot/get her reaction and I love that

Mikey never breaks. I know you get back to K.C. on occasion. If everything gets to weird on your end, my wife and I would put you/all up in south O.P. Started watching again the last few years. Hit's and misses like always. J.S.

i totally understand her reaction afterwards of feeling not professional and worrying about her job. that being said, you'd think looking back at viral sketches where people break, she'd see that fans actually love it. it makes people feel like they're /in/ on the actual scene, imo. honestly don't think this would have went viral if not for the break. same w/ the famous debbie downer sketch w/ lohan. same w/ gosling breaking in the alien abduction scenes.

Breaking character is part of the fun & attraction, SNL should know that by now if they don't, so not sure why these actors think they will get fired from breaking if it has been happening since the debut of this show.
