Sharmin's character alam was soo beautiful but her acting skills and, her expressionless face ruined it for me. It was so annoying to watch some beautiful scenes were ruined because her bland expressionless face

Bhanji ko launch karne ka moh. Aditi looked so beautiful, Shermin looked pale in comparison. And ofcourse acting wise, she never stood a chance in the company of great performers.

If Pakistani producer claims to make a movie on Maharashtra, Mizoram, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu etc but ends up making " Hips don't lie" would you appreciate the acting and give it any stars? Pakistanis are laughing at it and hate the movie because its not about Lahore but about Hyderabad, Ouadh or Lucknow. Please stick to subjects that pertain to India. You guys are totally ignorant about Pakistani regions, its race, culture, languages, geography and ethnic makeover.

@@latadubey8513 There was no India before the British but did it change the language, race and culture of Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Bihar, Kashmir, Oddisa, West bengal, Rajasthan etc? Your problem is that most Indians think that Pakistan is full of immigrants from Indian regions or Pakistan is an extension of some Indian slum or city. NOTTTTT ! The immigrants from India are not even 6% of the Pakistani population and at least 3% among them are originally from the Northwest ( Pakistan, Afghanistan Iran etc) whose ancestors moved to Indian regions.

I thought the episodes were a little long, but overall this was a well-narrated series. And watching Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditi Rao Hydari were sheer delights.

Adhyan suman also played young Shekhar suman thus establishing he is Mallika and zulfikar’s son who was adopted by the childless Nawab. When Alam is in jail, the maids make a remark about Zulfikar being her parent and considering two of Mallika’s children are his, it is fair to assume Bibbo was also his offspring.

Surprisingly, Sanjeeda ko acha role mila hai. Mujhe laga usko bas aise hi ek extra tawaif ke role me liya hoga, but acha role diya hai. And ofcourse Aditi was the best character, and performance wise Aditi and Manisha steal the show.

sanjida shekh waheeda character should have been more aggressive towards Mallika!! She was really hurt! Second i didn’t like how Alam still was in so love with that guy after what the cops did to her mom!!!

Except For Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Niece. Everybody acted superbly. 🔥🔥. His Niece can't act for sure. Her love story angle was pulling the story down because of her acting. Straight face in all scenes

Just a suggestion: Starts given at the end should be more specific! Like 3.5: 1for set.. 1 for acting of casts and songs in movie... 1 for shooting at proper angle to capture expressions.. .5 for story and twists.. -.5 for episodes length -.5 for some stories could be avoided -.5 for ....

Pre Independence India was time period of extreme wealth difference or income inequality in economic terms, even though majority of Indian were poor, a handful of Indian were extremely rich. I read some articles of about luxurious life of Seth Chunnamal of Delhi, he was literally richer than most Britisher by doing Sudhkhori in India, even most Zamidar, kings, Nawab, ICS officers in British era were extremely rich, what shown in this web series is not mere fiction,its reality of that time.

Well whats shown is true.. and even about tawaf culture.. they donated a lot during pre independence struggle... However they were never acknowledged.. and after independence as the nawab culture was banned, so these tawaf culture was also banned.. and these were converted to red light areas..

Loving the show.I am amazed at Sandy Leela Bansalis Detail in the costumes sets dialogues etc. everything was on pointHi relatives were from Lahore and I remember them wearing identical Gararas and clothing like the one shown in the series. The casting was amazing.
