See the problem is not in the filmmaker's thinking only but audience in general also seems to like these films..The filmmaker is ought to think in this way.. That's why n number of filmmakers now rely on such films for there profits and movies like Thappad come once in a blue moon..

Indian audience doesn’t deserve good actors,I haven’t seen this movie thankfully it has nothing in it still earned 187 cr where as classic masterpieces like byomkesh Bakshi & sonchariya could not attract the illiterate population .It is rightly said good actors should not judge their performances by awards and box offices as everything is fake.It only means that people here don’t deserve you and try career in other country then people here will worship you...as they love foreigners.
