It's amazing whenever you get Warned. Three years for me and I'm still in awe. So much so, they got me to go to my first concert in literally 40 years.

I discovered The Warning for nearly 3 years ago now. I was always on youtube searching for new music, and with hindsight, I am a bit annoyed with youtube for not putting it in my suggestions earlier, as before I found these 3 amazing sisters I was searching for years. I truly felt like I had struck gold or won the lottery. when I listened to one song, two songs, and then I heard Dust to Dust I was blown away and hooked ever since. I am from Liverpool, England, and flew out to Texas last year just to see these ladies live and boy!!!! Was it a treat! A journey well worth taking, and IMO a bucket list tick moment. These ladies are fantastic live, and when I met them and chatted with them, they are the most lovable, down to earth and humble people you will ever meet. They were genuinely grateful I had made the journey and their dad Luis came across to shake my hand and thanked me for my support. I share your passion for these remarkable young ladies and would enjoy your reactions if you have not already heard too much. Queen of the murder scene album is a great place to start reacting to each song ,in order, and sharing your views and comments on each song. This is a concept album with a story, and in my opinion, a masterpiece written by teenagers. Great songwriters, performers, and musicians. 🤟

People often say Ale was 9 for good reason due to the Enter Sandman cover in 2014. Their first stage show for school or something on KZread Ale was 7 in 2012, so 2022 was their 10th year on stage.

Fellow Babies! Dr. Fever, I presume.... Great video, thanks for posting this! I too lived in ignorance through most of their career and joined in actually more recently than you did, but I'm fully on board these days.

Glad you're aboard finding this band. Do all of your reactions for them on KZread and (TWA) The Warning Army will follow you every step of the way. I would suggest looking at their 2 Tedx performances in 2016 and 2017. Watch the whole thing because it provides a lot of insight into these amazing young women. Enjoy!

The Warning are three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico that started making music very young Alejandra (Ale = Aleh, not the beer. Bass, backing vocals and keyboard, the youngest- 18) and Paulina (Pau = Pow. Drums, backing/lead vocals and keyboard, middle sister 21) at 3 and Daniela (Dany = Dany. Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest 23) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band. They had been uploading their musical journey to KZread for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and started rehearsing for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show! The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10,000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston, Ma. USA. They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album "XXI Century Blood" in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded "Queen of the Murder Scene" and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues. In June of 2019 they released a single, "Narcisista". A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. This was recorded live in June 2019 at Foro Didi in Monterrey Mx (their hometown) - kzread.info/dash/bejne/gWt9o6ehfpe4fbA.html The Warning is totally fan-funded through Patreon, KZread and crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe and Kickstarter. They have turned down offers from record labels and talent shows like American Idol because they did not want to lose their control of their music, image and wanted to focus on learning. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever! So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid-19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lockdown was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City.This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on KZread and Facebook achieving well over 50,000 simultaneous viewers on March 25, 2020. They have since performed from The Warning Cave a couple more times including for the city of Brownsville, Tx. for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star. On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records, a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey, USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. After three months of recording and a month and a half of mastering, mixing and editing the third album was completed at the beginning of February, 2021. All that remains as of 22/02/21 is the album design and artwork and logistics of the release which will hopefully happen by the end of 2021. In March of 2021 The Warning was invited to cover a song from Metallica's eponymous 5th album (The Black Album) with Canadian Grammy and Juno award winning pop star Alessia Cara for Metallica's Blacklist album. A 30th anniversary celebration for the Metallica album. They selected to record Enter Sandman, a fitting song because it was this song that propelled The Warning 7 years previous into stardom. The Warning reimagined the song with Alessia and produced a fresh new feeling that goes above and beyond what others have done with the song... On October 8th, 2021, The Warning released six songs that were recorded for the new album on an EP titled Mayday with the remaining 6 songs to be released at a later date. Their forst show was on Saltillo Mx followed by a short set openning for Mammoth WVH in Las Vegas, NV and another short set opening for Sammy Hagar in Austin Tx at the SXSW Festival. Time to update the bio. Enter Sandman has surpassed 24 million views. Fracking amazing!!!

Hi Harley! I discovered them over 4 years ago. Not a day goes by that I don't listen to them. Every Saturday night I join a live stream of 3 to 4 hours of only The Warning. I have watched an estimated 4-500 reaction videos of them. I finally saw them live 3 times in 2022 and their is no sign that I will get tired of them anytime soon. To many of us they are like adopted nieces (in my case because I have no children, but have 7 nieces already. hahaha) or daughters and are fiercely loyal and protective of them. They are definitely on their way to becoming one of the biggest bands of all time, IMHO. There is something incredibly special about them that is undeniable!

I went to see them in KC this past summer. It was the first concert I’d been to in over 30 yrs. When I first saw them I immediately became a Patron. The next legit super group.

Glad to see someone else getting Warned. I’ll be here to see your reactions to their music. I expect that you’ll be even more excited and impressed the more you hear and see of them. Their live performances are full of energy and I never grow tired of watching them. 🔥🤟

I discovered The Warning back in the summer of 2015 when their cover of Enter Sandman landed in my recommendations, and I've been following their progress ever since... They just keep getting better and better!!!

I'm 4 1/2 years in and my amazement has only intensified. I've listened to/watched them multiple times per day, EVERY day, since the very first. I've now managed to see them live four times, and met and chatted with them at all four shows. The fan base they are building, which, by default, also happens to be one of the worlds largest independent and free marketing firms, is, arguably, the most devoted fan base in rock history. I could go on and on about what I mean by devotion, but I will spare the reader. Because of who The Warning are, The Warning Army (TWA) are who they are. There has never been a band who is as close to their fans as The Warning is to theirs. The Warning is at the cutting edge of what it takes to make it in this technological world, and they're consistently blazing new trails, all while putting out some of the coolest new rock and roll in the world.

The only thing I have ever seen that compares for total devotion by a fan base is The Beatles themselves, and of course the Fabs could never have had the connection back to the fans that the Villarreal sisters do.

@@harleysrocknrollchat The Beatles were a band for 10 years. The Warning will surpass that soon enough. As a 75 year old, I won't live to see them hit their "peak", but I have no doubt their mark in music will be deep and long.

@@harleysrocknrollchat Honestly? Not at all. Once Disco became popular, I only listened to oldies and classic rock. In 2003 my 15yr old son would play his music but I never listened long enough to get interested. Got my first computer in 2015, on Facebook in 2016. In 2020 I clicked on a KZread music video of the Righteous Bros. Saw a video of Phantom of the Opera and clicked on it because,as a kid I was in the Youth Symphony, and kind of liked opera. That is how I found Nightwish. Because of Nightwish, I found a new love of a genre I had never heard of. That lead me to The Warning and the resurgence of R&R. GVF is interesting. I have only listened to a couple of songs....yesterday.

If you really want to deep dive into The Warning, I strongly suggest becoming a Patron, as they have tons of video content of Q&As, behind the scenes, etc. and at the higher levels you can even do a monthly live chat with them and ask them questions. Also their official KZread channel is full of VLOGs, interviews, documentaries, etc. and also The Warning Army channel is great for fan filmed stuff.

There continuing growth in musicianship and song writing and stage presence is head and shoulders above the majority of bands over the past 10 years. There ability to fit in with rock and metal from the seventies through 2023 and still have a uniqueness to there songs make them a unicorn in a field of red tail Deer; every band fits a specific genre the past forty years: The Warning embrace all as they continue to make great albums and shock even old fans with new and different styles ( each a success and well fit for there growing catalogue.

I haven’t bought any physical album or CD since around 2002 but I bought the signed QOTMS CD. Would have bought Error CD too but it’s sold out.
