Very nice machine. It is astonishing how far e-motor technology came, with "ordinary" current engines having 6.500MW and are in the same ballpark.

That engine is almost as long as the train it is pulling! Never seen a loco quite like that before! Also, nice loading mechanism at the start for the iron ore.

As a fan of your's I'm surprised I haven't seen this dramatic video before. On the other hand, I did make two wire armature trees following your method (including coffee) and am most pleased with that. Took a few pictures as well as we're having gorgeous Indian summer days. Thank you!

Hi Rafael! I was so happy when I purchased this beautiful set of iron ore cars and locomotive. I just had to make this video! :D Good to hear about the Indian summer days.. Sweden is now fully into autumn with daily temperatures bwlow zero.. Urrrg! BTW.. You live in India? Can you please advise me of indian internet forums for model railroads? I plan to make a diorama from Bangalore, so it would be nice to have some Indian modellers to chat with..

Hello, Martin. That "Indian summer" expression stands for a prolonged summer. It's very much autumn here as well. I live in Slovenia, on the Karst plateau, just above the port of Trieste, Italy. Anyway, the weather turned this morning and my wood burning stove is earning its keep. I have been to Sweden ages ago and it was October and well, I was freezing my ass off to be honest. It was beautifull however! For what models of India's myriad of beautiful railways are concerned, I suggest you have a look at some British web pages, I remember seeing articles on India themed layouts in PECO's Continental Modeller magazine etc. Maybe you should simply write to the editor there (peco-uk.com) and they can drop you some hints. Also, you could do your info search by watching documentaries on KZread, write down the names of people appearing there (as experts) and look them up in a separate search. Many belong to clubs/societies that may turn out to be helpful. After all railway modellers are mostly a helpfull bunch of really nice people. Just like you. Have fun, keep warm. Rafael.

Kia ora,Greetings from New Zealand ,Martin. One of my favourite e-loks, along with crocodiles. I see you have catenary masts, but no wires !?!Reliabity/maintenance issues ? Even on Hamburg's Wunderland they run without using their overhead wires. Is this common practice? Nga mihi nui (best regards)

Kia ora, Martin. Greetings from New Zealand.(its very cold here now) another great video ...one of my favourite e-loks along with crocodile. even though I model german, austrian ,swiss I managed to get in a few Swedish. have had RC since 1975. I am wondering how many trains do you run at a time ?

Hi Simon, Thank you for your positive feedback! Yes, this triple unit loc is really one of my favorites. My layout support simulanios operation of 5 trains. I can run more, but then the trains just cue up in front of red signals. Theoretically I think I can run 9 trains at the same time, but again it´s not so fun.

I own this train, but my sounds are abit different. Where does for instance the "radio chatter" come from? Thats not standard from Roco / ESU, is it?

Hi Frode! Correct! This is the first issued version of DM3 manufactured by Märklin but issued by the Swedish dealer ”Modellhobby” in 500 units only. They occationally are available on ebay.

Varför bygger man en bana där tåget går, utan någon luftledning? Förstår inte det.

Fordi det kan være problematisk med kjøreledningen og pantografen på toget. Om den hekter seg er det over og ut til den pantografen. Men kunne jo hatt master da.
