My favourite type of weather, because the heavy snowfall reflects so much light that it's not dark at all outside, even if you're in a less lit area. It's wonderful. Barely any shadows, barely any contrast, just soft light being reflected everywhere.

Although it looks pretty, I find it funny that people are commenting it looks cold. The snow looks and sounds really wet, so I'm guessing the temperature was - 1°C. That's warm winter weather in Finland 😄

People that have never experienced snow ❄️ can assume that when it's snowing, that it's very cold. People that have witnessed snow are more aware that the really cold temperatures arrive after the snowstorm

In Tokyo it was also snowing, after 4 years that I have not snowed, it feels so magical. He made me remember Helsinki ,,, I miss being there, treading the snow, seeing the snow fall and seeing the shape of the snow is Magic.

That's a winter wonderland. You can actually feel the wonderful silence. Nothing better than that, for me, thoughts run free.

My Finnish friends were all sending photos of the snow fall yesterday showing how magical it looked on the trees. Even they were blown away by the beautiful scenes

The snow falling in and around and collecting on the trees truly is jaw dropping. Id be sitting there in the parks watching that.

Thank you for these wonderful videos! I was an au pair in Helsinki 10 years ago, and watching these videos while I ride my stationary bike brings me such feelings of nostalgia and happiness - but also longing for the wonderful place that made such an impact on my life. These Kallio videos are especially touching, as I spent many, many nights having a delicious lonkero in one of the nearby pubs. Thanks again - your videos are taking me back to the happiest time of my life :)
