EEMNES - A truck combination crashed on the A27 highway near the Dutch village of Eemnes on Wednesday afternoon. For unknown reasons, the truck combination was loaded with 37 tons of gravel from the road. The trailer ended up on its side and sustained massive damage. Bergnet was soon on site to start the recovery operation. They received help from recovery company Stouwdam with a telecrane. The recovery operation lasted until late in the evening.

Tractor unit,easy to recover.Trailer,not so much.Great job,by everyone.
That's a lot of weight on those two thin chains, lifting that trailer. Way overloaded. Surprising that a link didn't shear in half.

A trailer with 37 tons of. Gravel doesn’t make the easiest of recovery’s. The Bergnet crew did well in this time consuming operation.

@@derekantill3721 It does. The title is CLICK BAIT and the video shows what appears to be shiny black bituminous briquettes for hot tar roofing as the cargo. Go back to the start and tell me what your eyes see that overflowed from the open ports. Trust your own eyes before those who would intentionally deceive you for clicks.
Wat een mega klus is dit geweest, heb er met verbazing naar gekeken. Wel een flink kosten plaatje als je ziet wat er allemaal nodig is geweest om dit weer weg te krijgen, jullie hebben topwerk geleverd

Probs only 20 tons of cargo with all auxiliary equipment fit to trailer and tractor unit is not a tri axle

Beste Reindert,ik denk nee weet eigenlijk zeker dat u met dit bedrag te laag zit. De berger komt al ter plaatse met 2 zware bergers en een plateauwagen met zware kraan. Dan komt er nog een telekraan. Nou zag ik het niet helemaal maar ik denk dat er zo'n 10 man bergers en machinisten bij waren. Ik weet het niet precies maar dit bedrag is vele malen hoger dan u inschat. Daar komt bij: Schade voertuig trekker en oplegger Schade van de lading Schade wegdek Schade wegmeubilair Mogelijk reiniging weg&berm Mijn inschatting is dat dit alles bij elkaar opgeteld weleens richting de €800.000 op zou kunnen lopen. Dan heb ik de economische schade (gedeeltelijke wegafsluiting nog niet eens meegeteld) Zo'n berging zou zomaar eens 6,7uur geduurd kunnen hebben,de berger moet hoe gek het ook klinkt 'meer" Schade proberen te voorkomen. Dit lukt niet altijd want zoals je zag moest er zelfs een snijbrander aan te pas komen. Het kostenplaatje wordt vaak onderschat. Ik hoop dat dit antwoord geeft op uw vraag

CLICK BAIT . Tank trailer overturned, not the truck. Those shiny black briquettes appear to be bitumen , hot tar roofing material. Not gravel.

it's a "blowtruck", the big cabinet holds a pump that can blow the gravel true the hoses for instance on the roofs of houses. I nearly worked with such a truck but it wasn't my kind of work

@@cinqpower Did you see any evidence they were hauling gravel? I did not, but we clearly see the shiny black bitumen briquettes for hot tar roofing as the cargo at the start.
That axle combo on the trailer coupled with a single axle tractor certainly didn't help. Basically turned it into a puck sliding on wet pavement.

Not at all. A combination like this is very safe generally speaking. All Europe has Tri axle trailers..
