Something that I find constantly impressive is Rob and Deane's easy professionalism in every clip. They really were gold standard presenters.

100% agree. They presented so naturally and flawlessly which made it so easy to watch and understand as a kid - even now as a 53 year old reminiscing ‘the good old days’ 🙂

very precisely speaking, the so called centrifugal force isn't a real force. Neil deGrasse Tyson also says so. I mean, it acts like one and therefore certainly appropriate for a kid's show. but the two always have everything else uber correct nonetheless. it's the acceleration required to be applied on the moving object to change its direction in such a way that it makes a circle. I actually don't fully understand why that would even make a difference, but I've heard this several times meanwhile.
The hard cut to the plane crash made me laugh harder than it probably should have

I’ve done that flyaway wind tunnel and now I want to go back! ❤
It was fairly obvious to me what would happen with the fan and the balloon; nonetheless your explanation of the pressure differences that caused it to float in place was enlightening. Without fail, your show is always quality educational material and I appreciate you guys for uploading it to KZread for all to see.

When I was 13 we lived in a trailer park in Woodside,DE. The family had a fan clamped to a kitchen counter that didn't have a gate on it. It was very quiet too. Well , when I was walking out I walked by it and it slit my arm open and i didn't feel it. The mom come running out and screaming. I looked down and my muscle and veins were hanging out. I thought it was cool. LOL !!!! They rushed me to the Air Force base hospital and used a sons name to get me admitted. The father was in the air force. I got all stitched up and everything was fine. I have a scar to remind of that day. I'm 63 now. 😉
I’d be sitting there all goddamn day just trying to thread the string through the pen! 🤣
awesome! I'm wondering what might have happened to said Vegas attraction meanwhile 😅
I did some heavy lifting today
Wasn't this segment already uploaded? I remember seeing it some time ago.
