    Great documentary very interesting.thank you.. I know I'm being picky here, but submariner pronunciation Is "submariner" -- short " i ", not "submareener" with double "e" sound..

    It depends if you are going by the American or British pronunciation. In the American the short "I" can be considered offensive because the prefix sub- can mean inferior hence a submariner can mean an inferior mariner where as a submariner is a person working in a submarine.
