Hua Cheng’s reactions after he said it was a joke were so wonderfully heartbreaking - the way he was so awkward and fidgety, looking around and wiggling his feet. So much personality there!

i agree, it was like he was a little child again, ah so cute. was it mentioned in the novel? i was too shocked while reading that part so i might have overlooked it. either way, i like how the creator portrayed it, they are so talented!

I love how many little details you included, from the different angles of the characters, the steady movement of the carriage, the way HC's foot moments indicated his nervousness, etc. You are very talented. Thank you for sharing this with us!

years ago when I read this part, I cried, I screamed, I was honestly,, shocked. Now, after more than 4-5 years, no matter how many times I re-read any danmei genre, I will always have the same shocking reaction to this.

You don't just throw a: Want to get married? and then say it was a joke jasjhdad I love these dummies so much.

That part also is really good😂 when that Quan Yizhen was quietly sleeping in his palace and was been invaded by that '3' musketeers, and followed by Pei Ming catching them up and ended up getting beaten by Quan Yizhen and letting those 3 to run away? 😊😍 YES YES YES PLEASE! 👐 Do that parts as well.🙏 And right after that moment, Right? Xie Lian rolled a dice and the 3 of them went to San Lang wherein He's not wearing anything on top? As in, "topless"?? 😂 Then suddenly, Xie Lian covered Ming Yi & Qingxuan's sight to avoid them from seeing his Hua Cheng's half-naked body being seen by the other 2??? HAHAHA! I really love that part! woah, the emotions of the characters are truly conveyed and the pixel art made this animatic atmospheric. It reminded me a little of the game of the early 2000s.I was even inspired to draw something in a similar style, without colors, without a line, but just a pixel pencil⭐
