Salvation is by faith in the Gospel dear friend. Epeshians and Romans explain that. The Gospel: God sent His Son Jesus Christ who is God to die on the cross for our sins. Through faith in His blood to cleanse us from our sins we receive remission. And through faith in the fact that Father God resurrected Him from the dead we have His righteousness imputed to us. If you believe this congratulations, you have received the Holy Spirit and are sealed for the day of redemption. You can read Romans Chapter 1 through 6 to find out more about this and Ephesians 1:13 and Ephesians 2:8-9 are great verses as well. The plan of salvation is simple and its a free gift but the free gift won't do you any good unless you receive it.

@Export Import I read the book and figured it’s not real because : He says there is war in heaven. And the Angels Gabriel sits to the left of Gods throne. These things are not scirptual. And he said in heaven every human is wearing different coloured sashes -why put humans in category’s like that? And everyone has wings and the wings have different sizes ...why would that be ? And the most evidence for me was ...it says in the book the little boy was looking at pics of Jesus online with his father... and the one that he said was the most accurate to who he saw in heaven is actually a painting of a child who also said she saw Jesus... it’s a green eyed white man with short brown and blond hair....Google it the child painters name is Akiane Kramarik ...look at it... that’s not Jesus.

That Heaven is for real and can change all creation through out everyone

It's so sad that people can't open up their minds to the impossible, which is in all actuality very possible and real. There's something much more profound and greater than us humans. Since the universe is so massive in size and there are other galaxies yet to be discovered, then of course we aren't the only living beings. I do believe there is a heaven or some sort of afterlife/world we will transport to after leaving our physical bodies. :)

There are infinite multiverses, so in one of them (or in the outer realms of our universe) Star Trek would definitely be real, except for the physically-impossible elements (FTL travel for example). By the way I agree that people should be open-minded and I'm a very spiritual person. Nevertheless I find this story appalling: it's disgusting how these parents are coaching & taking advantage of this kid, he's going to be mentally and emotionally scarred. Also they're making a huge amount of cash from these lies, and it's just extremely dishonest and taking advantage of people who are uneducated or hopeless; it's greedy and offensive.

One thing I didn't like about the movie, "Heaven Is For Real", is that the Burpo's didn't sue the Emergency Room Doctor for negligence as he said that Colton had an intestinal flu and then turned out to be a ruptured appendix. In real life, that doctor would have been sued for Medical Malpractice. It hit me hard as something similar happened to me in February 1987 when I had unexplained stomach pains. My mom had to take me to a children's hospital, the IWK Health Centre in Halifax, Canada, where I was diagnosed with having an intestinal flu. The same night, the stomach pains got worse and my appendix ruptured. I suffered massive internal bleeding and I nearly died Like Colton, I had to undergo emergency surgery. I was hospitalized for nearly two weeks and had to miss school for a month. As for the doctor who gave me a misdiagnosis, he was given a severe reprimand from the "College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia" but never compensated me or my parents for the pain and suffering his careless mistake did. If the Burpo's sued that doctor, they would have been able to pay Colton's medical bills. That's what's wrong with America where being hospitalized can force a family to sell their house. I'm glad in my country, Canada, people don't have to worry about losing their homes or face massive bills when a love one is sick.

To sell a book which had 10m copies sold, and a movie with $100m sales at boxoffice. Now you know. the page 136 in his book mentions his dad in the battle of Armageddon( after he is raptured). I used to think there was a clue a few years ago the Armageddon battle,or mid trib heavenly battle would come before he was 20 since he says as a child he could not participate in a battle in this mention' In heaven,the women and the children got to stand back and watch.So i stood back and watched""but the men,they had to fight.And Dad,i watched you.You have to fight too".Its the battle of Armageddon since he says he saw satan thrown in the abyss. It looks like the answer is he just stood back and watched in the present moment(instead of the future still as a child) when he visited heaven back a several years ago,but it was not about women and children in the future at the time of the battle of Arrmageddon who stood back and watched because he saw himself still as a child. So he was viewing the future battle through prophecy because he will be an adult within 7 years when the armageddon battle happens. So yeah,he could see his dad in the future fighting and raptured,but he didnt see himself in the future. Strange he didnt mention seeing his own future self. maybe he didnt recognize his adult self in the future in that battle.

I have a perfect idea for a new reality show! Throw a challenge out there to people like this to take a lie detector test

Sorry everyone if there are inconsistencies in my replies I'm really tired. but still feel free to comment your thoughts.

i don't believe his parents had/have bad intentions..and maybe his story would *not* change... but i'd be interested in hearing what colton has to say about his *direct* experience of the NDE *after* he turns 18...or 21'ish...in part because by the time dad (and/or mom) had written the book, colton was 6..maybe 8 years old?? but i saw an interview with him and his dad from back then.. and, to be honest, seemed like papa was interrupting his son a lot - in order to 'correct' the storytelling of what his own child witnessed..and i did pick up the book once..yep, unbelievably, lol!, in a real life brick & mortar bookstore building! 😊 but didn't like what i was reading..sounded like an insecure christian *adult's* desperate interpretation..that vs. just having allowed the child's Innocent quotes to be published - with a loving parent's own thoughts on it being included - honest thoughts of agreement or even of disagreement and/or confusion...meaning, in a form that could have worked (as it has before re: various other personal reports published in book form - both related and unrelated to this same topic). for me, my experience of the book, it was like, 'who needs god when we have colton's parents??' because, imho, instead of trusting the way God/Love chose to bring us the story (and through a child's heart)... anyway, after he turns 18..or perhaps 21 - or a bit older if he decides to go to vocational school, to uni or to join the military..that's a time i look forward to..if it turns out that he has something more and somewhat different to say vs. what he and the book are saying today. 🤓

rhinomdog a lot of us *do* have memories from the year we were 3!, lol! just because *you* don't doesn't mean others do *not!* and *NDE's & STE's* tend to be 'more real' for many of us who have experienced one or both of these..far more real than our everyday world..for me, btw, this is also true. 😃

FIGUEROA no, not the brain, lol! - which is part of the *physical* body..more like infinite Mind..and esp., if someone was temporarily brain dead, like *Pam Reynolds* and her miraculous *NDE* - esp., since she was having surgery at the time with all kinds of vital signs being monitored, of course..as her body was drained of blood and cooled down..for what was at the time, for all intents and purposes, an experimental surgery back then..the details are definitely worth at least a one-time listen..personally, as a layperson who has had a 'handful' of metaphysical/spiritual experiences - and as a licensed health care professional, i still find Pam's story to be amazing..pretty sure she could have 'stayed *Home* ' after that first time..but i choose to believe she returned to help us try to understand..as 5 years later she left again and that time she didn't come back..but i am *very* grateful to Pam and i thank her! 😇

All the things he saying is everything you learn from the Bible in hear over and over again in church. They never told him directly about his sister, but they would talk about it and they didn’t think he was listening. All of this is the subconscious level. Heaven is probably real and we will have those experiences after you die, because the brain will more than likely, or the energy more than likely will want to be comforted by everything you’ve been taught.
