Heater Hose Leak Repair 1999-2013 Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Instead of replacing the entire heater hose assembly I show you how you can save money by spending a little bit of time replacing cheap brittle plastic parts with aftermarket upgrades. Using the Dorman Coolant Junction Part #47157 you can save and reuse your original coolant and heater hoses and replace only the cracked or broken plastic Y-pipe, instead of wasting money and throwing away good hoses by buying the complete assembly. This repair kit should fit GM trucks and SUVs from 1999 to 2013 with 4.8, 5.3, 6.0 and 6.2 liter Vortec V8s on the GMT800 and GMT900 platform including the Chevy Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban and Avalanche, the GMC Sierra, Yukon and Yukon XL, the Cadillac Escalade and Escalade EXT, and even the Hummer H2.

You will have to add some coolant, at least up to the full when cold line on the reservoir, then start the engine and let the coolant circulate and bleed any air out and add more while the engine is running until it reaches the full when cold mark once again.
