I would be afraid of the "Pez community"!! Do they have a club house? Have secret midnight gatherings under the full moon?
It slays me when the person trying to sell something knows more than the expert. Like the guy who said "...they bring in some bozo off the street, I mean, what does he know?" In the meantime, they expect them to go on their word, 'some bozo off the street"!

Seems this show is quite predictable. Every episode is about the same... The pawn stars and sellers discuss the history of the item , the expert is called upon and conveniently shows up and proves whether or not the item is genuine, appraises the item and then when the item is proven to be worth alot of money, the seller has the nerve to ask for the valued price and get all disappointed when the pawn shop offers much less than that. I have learned not to sell to a pawn shop. If I did, I would accept what they offer and let it go at that.
Absolutely not Lincoln, and he cannot accept the truth 😂😂😂

at least the guy with the gun, was understanding but pissed off.
Not gonna lie I busted laughing at big Antoine approach at 22 seconds.
"My wife was pissed when I bought this gun. Now she's really going to be pissed!". 😂🤣

“The Pez community” hahaha 😂
Just play the clip, we don’t need the director’s cut.
I think that guy knew it was a salesman sample. Tried to walk away looking important. hahaha
The Old Man has a gift to deal with people. Old school honesty. Honesty always works. PS: Don't buy any collectible what doesn't include any documentation. No matter what.
The guy with the "Lincoln" picture is obviously delusional! Anyone who is even slightly familiar with the REAL Abe and Mary Lincoln would know right off that those are NOT them in that pic! The guy then embarrasses himself further by acting like an idiot and insulting the REAL expert! He didn't deserve to even walk into the pawn shop, let alone be on the episode.
That incident with the statue, that's the kind of stuff that you would ordinarily see on "Hard Core Pawn" 🤣😂
I can't believe Sid Bream is trying to sell that Braves WS ring. He wasn't even on the team at that point.
99% of this show is scripted but that first guy is a dork,he definitely doesn't wear the pants at home, lol
I love how people come into a pawn shop expecting to get the "worth" of an item. You'll never get what something is worth at a pawn shop. They have to make money and they like money. If you have something truly valuable take it to auction or sell it online through a broker. Pawn shops are for pawning something when you have shit credit.
@psyclops973
3 ай бұрын
Yeah people forget that pawn shops need to make a profit selling the stuff they get. So even if you're 100% sure something is worth, let's say, a thousand bucks, the people at the pawn shop will always offer you a substantially lower amount. If they pay you a price that's too close to an item's actual value, they'll never be able to make a profit
ANYBODY could tell at first glance that wasn't even close to Lincoln. She stretched it out for the camera.

One thing some customers seem to not comprehend, is that the pawn shop owners, if they took the advice of the customers on a products value, the pawn shop would go out of business. If it's worth what the customer says its worth, they should just go sell it somewhere else rather than get mad at the business. lol. "I say its worth $10,000, therefore, you should give me $10,000" . LOL
, keep it up 😊

People are dumb & easily fooled these days. They’ll believe anything they’re told. There’s a president that would lie constantly and the majority of the world knew him to be a lifelong fraudster and a complete imbecile. I’m can’t till this day when you google the word idiot his face still shows up here and there. It use to be the only face that showed up lol. However people believe his every word and follow him as pigs to the slaughter house. People believe what they want to believe and even with you and I and hundreds others telling them that this is fake, they won’t believe you. They can’t because they don’t want to and some because they are just plain ol stupid and gullible. Lol what a reply huh? 😊 I bet this guys is ‘like geez man I was just making a stupid comment about a show bud.’

4:19 I’d destroy it to get out any lingering anger and then tell my wife I got mugged outside the store lol
Very nice finds.
It's useless to argue with a Pawn Shop. They're willing to pay what they're willing to pay, and that's the end of that subject. All you can do at that point is thank, them, collect your possessions and walk out the door.
Everyone's an expert when they the Porsche payment is coming!
I need more Pez guy videos in my life
No I don't have candy...hilarious
“That’s an insult to the PEZ community!” Haha oh no would wanna anger the PEZ people!
I love watching these. But quick giving away what's going to happen
lol That first guy with the flintlock pistol. I could tell instantly when I saw it that it was fake. My dad had that same exact pistol and it was from a kit that he bought back in the early 80s and assembled himself.
I've had her a long time, she's paid off! Hilarious my man! American Pride baby!
CHUM is in Prision 😂
It’s JOSTENS not JOHNSTON. Josten’s is a company that makes class rings/yearbooks/team rings/jewelry/etc. They are like the company Balfour, that does graduation rings and memorabilia.
Do not lower yourself - have nothing to do with these characters - the "Pawn Stars" -but if you walk into this joint bring a jar of Vaseline,
7:47 felt like the sales men sample ring should be worth the same since it’s an idea pitch for that era
What gets me about a lot of these people is the fact that they're taking their super duper special items to a pawn shop in the first place. WHO does that? Even if I owned the pawn shop myself I would be super leery of someone who is bringing a Claude Monet to the pawn shop rather than to an art dealer. Or a high value sports memorabilia item, instead of a sports collector auction or store? I'll tell you exactly why they did that knowing that the pawn shop is going to valuate their item way lower than anyone else. I's because they thought the level of scrutiny would be as low as their valuation.

Well I believe Gold and Silver Pawn shop in Vegas was already known to deal in very high end items even before the tv show, I mean I would assume that’s the whole reason why History even wanted to film a television show there with them in the first place. And now after the tv show they’re even more known for it. So it doesn’t surprise me people bringing such high end things in. Also a lot of people probably just don’t wanna deal with the headaches and long waits associated with using an auction house or art dealer so they’re willing to maybe take a little less money to not deal with all of that. Also, like DAMN MAN, can you think of a better place to have a fancy ass pawn shop than Las Vegas?? Some schmuck comes to Vegas losing all his money and needs more so they come to you with some prized possession of theirs wanting to sell it for some quick cash. lol pretty good gig I gotta say.

The problem is that auctions are keeping about 25% of the money. But, they reach a bigger audience.
"It kills me to sell it" Then don't sell it! It doesn't add value to it!
13:18 OH SHIT, here comes the A-GAME! 🤣 Who else would love to see video of him throwing someone out of the store?
The guy with the gun wasn’t disrespectful or hostile. He was mad at himself.
Dinkelsbühl is near were i live;) that Halberds guy was stationed here lul
The guy who uses an antique caliper instead of modern technology is a professional photo analyst. Obviously he's a Bar fly 🪰 drunk.😂
Watching the credits with Correy trying to look tough makes me laugh, what's he gi to do, sit on you???
the ring guy has been in the shop several times, he is always upset when he doesn't get his price!
My nephew, Sean Rich, was the expert on the flintlock pistol.
The old saying applies..if it was that valuable, why wouldn't the shop buy them ?
It's crazy how mad people get. Like dude at the end of the day I dont wanna buy your product, thats that. You got a free appraisal
Never go to a pawn shop to sell anything unless you are willing to take alot less than what the item is worth.
Gota love people who start out saying they don't know anything then turn around acting like they know everything.
"Well, Mr. Lincoln, My name is Henry, and I'm looking for an investor to build a horseless carriage. You interested?"

I've been involved in comics and collectibles for 30 years, owned my own shop for 10. I found one of the compilations that are all comics and I can tell you the two 'experts' they use are ripping people off left and right and so does the toy guy. Most likely they get a "finders fee" based on how much money they chew the price down.
