    Zgadza się, pręty zbrojone to stal konstrukcyjna zwykłej jakości. Jednak w pewnym momencie przy drugim zespoleniu była przemieszana z inną stalą, i tutaj domyślam się, że zbrojenie ma być rdzeniem dla twardszej stali wysokowęglowej żeby całość po prostu nie połamała się przy uderzeniu jak np. pilnik.

    If quenched properly and tempered properly most rebar is 1095 tool steel and will hold a good edge

    ​@@davidashner2034 This is not true. Rebar is made from recycled steel and graded not for its chemical content but its physical properties. ASTM A615 and ASTM A706 are common grades for rebar. Carbon content is 0.2-0.3%. For knife making it's low carbon mystery steel. Not even as good as a railroad spike.
