    Had to clean the plate heat exchanger last night. Fun times. Getting the rubber seals to not leak is a pain.

    Yep, I remember that feeling! That is definitely one of the issues with PHEs, you put them together again only to find they leak, then you need to start again...and again...and again.

    These are exclusively liquid-to-liquid types, what about gas-liquid, gas-gas, and two-phase-to-liquid? These include feedwater heaters, condensers, hydrogen and air coolers for generators and motors, radiators such as automotive, steam generators, moisture separator reheaters, refrigerator evaporators, etc.
