@@IamCynDoll I think I got it. I stopped putting oil on my hair and scalp until the day of wash day so I can rinse it out. I've been keeping my hair stretched and almost product free. I really reduced the product I use and I make sure to completely emulsify before I put it on my hair. My hair looks better already. I managed to grow my hair long and healthy despite the practices I learned being natural. Now I feel confident that my hair is about to really thrive now that I know what it does and doesn't need. It's gotten thicker already and I have you to thank.

I am so glad you were in my feed. 🥰 I followed your channel after the first video. It was just chucked with information that I truly needed. I’ve never been diagnosed with any scalp disorder but I may have the disorder that you mentioned in your video. After allowing a friend to do my hair, a couple of my braids just feel out and my scalp has been damaged even in the back. She later told me (after I told her want happened to me) that her daughter’s doctor told her that her daughter had ringworms or something on her scalp ,but she did not believe him. 😱 The next thing I said was “and you used the same comb on my hair?! 🤯😡 So I went to my doctor and told her and she gave me meds. That’s been year ago. But girl I still have a small bald spot on each side of the front and my hair only grows a little and it’s very fragile around my edges and nape area. I have extremely coily hair, very tight coils and looks dry (no matter how much product is on my hair), even if it is moisturized my hair will absorb all the water outside even if it hasn’t rain. But I will be doing exactly what you said do in your videos and I pray that this helps me. Thank you so much for sharing all of this information. 🥰😅

I have always used relaxer because I have a head full of hair that is full, thick and coarse. However, I love my hair and have struggled for more than 2 decades yet haven't achieved the sort of results I see in your videos. I have given up using relaxers, was transitioning to 'team natural' when i came across your videos. I'm yet to understand the knowledge you share here but I'm hoping I do.

I am doing my own hair at home and I’m dealing with dry scalp issues in the crown area only. I oil my scalp to lengthen my straight hair in between wash days. I do use Moroccanoil products right now. I’m not sure if I need to see another video and learn about the process that would help me reduce the need to oil my scalp

Your doing it wrong and I’m not being rude but your routines and patterns need to change why is your hair so tangled that it hurts to comb? Why is your hair so tangled? What have you done to your hair since your last wash day to today? I’m not being rude I need that answer to help. In the salon we create slip with oil we don’t paralyze the hairshaft with water on tangled hair. We also direct our clients on a pattern and routine to follow from wash day to wash day so the hair never gets so tangled that it hurts to run a comb through. That’s the real issue.

If your hair is damaged you cut the damaged ends off before they split up the hair shaft. You need to practice on a mannequin so you know what your doing before you get in our head. Give yourself a OLAPLEX treatment, blow dry your hair and go to a professional or leave it alone until you know what your doing.

No just because your hair is loosing the curl pattern doesn’t mean it’s damaged. Women with relaxed hair have extremely healthy hair with no damage if they treat their hair right. Damage hair has holes and splits. Get the broken hair off with a trim on dry flat ironed hair and get a OLAPLEX 1 & 0 treatment at a hair salon.

When washing while cleansing and massaging your scalp,do you just section the hair off to prevent it from tangling again or is light finger detangling ok while wet ok? I noticed my hair is always easy to detangle with warm/hot water and with a wide tooth comb. I don't want to damage my cuticles after watching your videos

Hello! From watching her past videos and lives, she mentions using oil to help detangle the hair and to use a comb (not finger detangle, as your fingers will not efficiently remove all the shedded hair). If you experience tangles even during the wash, you may need to get a trim. This is just from my experience. I haven't experienced any retangling throughout the wash and styling process now that i keep my hair trimmed regularly. Cyn also mentioned that your hair "feels" easier to detangle while wet because the hydrogen bond is broken, making your hair shaft relaxed. This relaxed state is the most prone to mechanical damage during the detangling phase. Hope this helps!

Not sure about using a wire round brush on natural hair. It tends to tug and pull natural hair

Thank you. I have given up trying to wear natural styles and am opting to cleanse my hair and silk pressing it. My hair has felt rough for years and I have used very butter, cream and oil in existence. I am dealing with alopecia in my crown and wanted desperately to grow in the bald patch. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

@IamCynDoll I have been thinning for years. I think it started when I started taking Blood Pressure medicine. That's when I noticed the hair falling out in large clumps and it has never grown back completely. It's just super thin where I have to wear wigs in order for people to not see the thinness in my Crown. I should also mention that I have seen a dermatologist who gave me shots in my head. And it did not help and my mother lost her hair when she was younger. So I don't know if I'm dealing with hereditary issues. But my hair was just so super thick when I was younger. I am now 61.

@@IamCynDoll Mainly just oils and butters tea tree, coconut, olive black castor oil peppermint. rosemary. Shea butter, biotin biotin shampoos / conditioner, oil and oral supplements. I have shampooed with clays as well. I have used about every brand on the market for the last 8 years. I also use a infrared cap once a day . The rest of my hair is growing but the crown is still extremely thin. I recently started using this allurium oil but it's too soon to tell if its working. I wear wigs and caps when I go out and I never pull or braid my hair tight EVER. I am currently using a net wig cap. I think that's everything. And may I just end by saying you are an angel to take the time to consult with me. Be and Stay Blessed😇
