After taking the printer apart numerous times, cleaning it, adding new parts (hot end, sensors, extruder, bowden tube nozzles), wasting a lot of filament, changing filament constantly, searching countless videos on why my print head would stop extruding after a few layers, increasing temps., cussing constantly, turning fan off, I finally saw this video. I literally have spent days troubleshooting this problem. And it was this simple. Wow! Thank you!!!!!! Honestly i was about to buy a new printer.

Definitely surprising how good an insulator a thin layer of dust can be. That has been a problem for me a few times. Good tips! And love that 3DSolutech translucent green filament.

Dude you saved me from going mad. I had the perfect printer (ender 3 v2) .It printed beautifully everything. The last 2 months everything went downhill. I tried everything. Over/under extrusion ,retraction settings ,wipe distance, z hop , different filament , raising the temperature ... Everything went to normal by lowering the temperature to 195, printing faster and changing the damn fan that was starting to fail. Thanks for the video.

i just got an x2 sidewinder like a week ago, already have this problem.. its still extruding, but very slowly and my prints are coming out super soft. So its not a total blockage, which is why i didnt notice it right away.. I will try this and hope it works, thanks for the video..

Here in SunnyZona heat creep happens on 110° day when your underwear creeps up giving you a wedgie. Sorry not enough cofefe, coffee today.

I have heat creep on my brand new ender 3... and on my upgraded one with an all metal hotend, even after upgrading the fan. this tpu claims 220-240.. i'm printing it at 205.. STILL GETTING heat creep.

Same thing with my second ender 3 as well. Straight out the box and stops print after 10 minutes due to heat creep. Just clogs up the PTFE tubing. Same settings as my og ender 3 that prints perfectly.

Very rare these days it's more retraction that stops a print too much or too fast of retraction speed

Hi. Thanks for the informational video. I am experiencing the same problem of heat creep and its really getting frustrating now. Can i get a direct contact of yours like an email id, instagram, or whatsoever, where we can chat one-to-one with each other in more detail about the problem?

Just keep at it. Most likely it's the insulation around your hotend. Make sure it has a sock, or gasket around it. This is what I've found.
