We will never get all the particulars on his leaving other than his new podcast but there was much more. We will leave it at that! But you are right ratings for the show are at a all time audience low! And getting lower each episode!! Let them pretend they are doing ok but those in the know will tell you differently and we will leave that at that! Lol! I too enjoyed Shane & Miranda! Hope Miranda gets a chance to put Jessica in her place and in this scene there is a hint Miranda's husband will not be back in time for the wedding!! I have not heard the podcasts that you reference and if what you say is fact then for sure I don't want someone like that speaking anywhere near my grand kids or any other children! Having said that I will ask you the same question of Amber Marshall!! Amber has always proclaimed she is a role model for young teens, in particular young girls!! And as Amber has said on record, she has a major say in what her character says and acts out her scenes and how the scene will go! So let's take all the Chase/Amy scenes and the Amhed / Amy scenes and her scenes were she was cheating on her best friend Soraya with Chase. And let's add in her scenes with Jeremy and her desire to even think of dating a guy 8 years older than character Amy!!! How do you say, those scenes are ok for young ones who are expecting to watch a family show on Sunday evening! Amber is not simply acting out scenes she has no say in. She has full involvement in all her scenes. Plus let's not say it's just a fake show so it's ok to do what she does on the show!! No No No!! Good enough for the goose it's good enough for the gander!! Ok I aged myself with that line! Lol! I am all about proper shows for proper ages but Heartland is on record saying it's a Family Show for all ages!! No decent parent would want or even think it's ok for there daughter to date or take a interest in a guy 8 years older than her! Note I said "decent" parent!! There are commentors on this show that have no issue with stuff Amy is doing simply because it's just a show and they like juicy soaps! Shame on them. I was ok Caleb on much of his scenes, a few questionable and he for sure is no partner for Amy! But I tend not to delve into there personnel lives as I never know if it's fact or rumor unless I hear them personally say it! Once they say it it is on record and they can be judged based on there comments! I call a spade a spade! I thought Caleb was 21 when Amy turned 16 in season 2 episode 1 so that would make him 5 years older not 8 but your point is well taken. Also as a family show how was it OK for Lou and Mitch to be sleeping in her room with her daughters living at home? Just saying.

I’m not sure the involvement of Amber in the running of episodes , I know she wants Amy to date for sure , why not sure what , I did here her comment she thought it was time for Amy to ck the field out as Ty has passed for three yrs , I didn’t care for tht . I don’t like the producers leaving Lynda out of the scenes with Amy when she could be in a lot of them … the least Amber and the group could do is not get Amy married be a great mom for Lynda talk about her dad Ty stay single and at the end if Graham wouldn’t come back , have him Back last season when ever ( which won’t be long ) the way 17 is going …

Alright right on! Like I said on a earlier comment Nathan or whomever his actor is can't even ride a horse! His double did all the riding other than the scenes where he was just sitting on the horse! Even when he is sitting he has both hands on the horn hanging on for dear life! Would have thought a guy that much older than Amy could at least look like a cowboy! His arms are as white as if he was a office worker!! Maybe Lyndy could train him when he becomes her stepdad on her wooden horse Caleb gave to her when she was 2!! Amy Amy Amy what are you doing!!!👎

Amy and Ty were perfect, natural love, innocent love, Heartland really lost itself after the 13th season with the departure of Ty, who for me was the best person who played his role. Heartland died and is already buried after the 13th season, this 14,15,16,17 is just greed on the part of the producers. They ended what was an excellent TV show, unfortunately they are making Amy into something very vulgar.

I really like watching watching heartland tv show I was wondering is heartland season 16 on dvd yet ? When is season 16 of heartland coming two Netflix in US?

I thought Katie and the dirt bikes was interesting and could see her doing motor cross. Maybe Amy should try something new like sky diving or race cars or even following in grandma Lyndy's footsteps and tour and record Maybe even mud slings (mud buggies or monster trucks). Something different. I love horses too and have two of my own but they are not my entire life. I like doing other things as well.

I like your thoughts! I too have 6 horses, few are for friends of family when they come out to the ranch for trail riding. You are right you have to have other things in your life!! But I do like my horses!! Lol! I like your idea perhaps sky diving for Nathan!!! Haha! I would like to have seen a episode where the family went on a mountain excursion with the horses for a few days! Or a couple of teams of horses pulling snow sleighs on a overnight ride, campfire, tenting where Lyndy took a few of her school friends along with Shane his wife to be, Miranda without her husband and Tim without Jessica;!! Oh wouldn't that start the rumors!! Have Jack & Lisa there as I believe this will be there last season. Have Lou and Peter and Tim surprises them by inviting Mitch and Mitch bring Casey!! Mallory and Jake with the baby! And for the biggest encore::::: Amy there and Jesse,Chase,Amhed, Edwin & Nathan show up on there own and decide to play spin the bottle with the winner unfortunately getting Amy!! Ok just a thought!! Ok so we will leave Amy and the guys at home and the rest enjoy a beautiful sleigh ride! And that will be the end of the season and the last episode of Heartland!!🙏🤞👍👏🙈🙉🙊!!

@@Ty-ty8ty Oh there is nothing i like better than a weekend excursion out in the mountains on horseback. Take my guitar and sit around the campfire and pick and sing a few. I have written some my best material out doing that very thing. Wife and the girls usually go off to a private spot for a sun bath and swim while us guys fish or pitch horseshoes. Very relaxing!

I too love Heartland....when i started watching i just got pulled in....love the characters .hated to see ty leave. U cant replace good characters....i was do hooked all i watched. Now i have different cable service an cant find it any longer. At 78 years old u grow to love certain shows an thats all you like to make your day....now i cant find it on my xfinity channels sad.....im lost now but will hook up my roku so i can watch passed episodes....

I love Season 17 all the different events and storylines. I think writers did an exceptional take on Heartland, Amy and Lyndy, Jake, Mallory and Sully Jack. I thought Katie and Tim work great together. Of course Jack and Lisa was refreshing once Lisa got her feeling sorted. Caleb shock Amy and with Nathan in the scenario it was and is powerful. Lou 's story kind of unusual but you could see how children suffer in breakups. Poor Tim as usual no idea. Great, Shane and Chloe relationship a little bridezella on Chloe part. Tim probably caught off guard. Stop here but I am sorry if some can't find the goodness in 17. I sure did and do like Heartland. Last 2 episode really good to me, lot of excitement and expectation. Can't wait for 18. I love Amy and Lyndy in these episodes.

LOVE that there are love interests for Amy. But did Lou have an interest with this new guy on the show, when she was a teenager? I don't know why in the last season Georgie got engaged but wasn't sure. We have not seen anything more about it this season. Why is that???

Lou did not have a romantic interest in the new guy, Nathan, when she was younger though it may have seemed that way from a few clips. What actually happened is that she ran away from home shortly after her father left. The night she ran away from home she met Nathan in the woods. They talked a bit. She called her dad from a payphone but that did not go well so he comforted her and then took her home. That was the end of it. She even said she didn't see him afterward and he says that his mom split from his dad and moved away taking him with her right after that night. This is why she still had his jacket as she never got a chance to return it. So essentially, there was nothing between them. The only reason it was significant to Lou was because of her dad. She thought she put that day behind her but when Nathan showed up it brought up memories of that day and her dad's rejection.

@@valerielove9837 Did u miss the part where I said he moved away right after that night with his mom? So how could she have given it back to him, when he wasn't there anymore? She was upset that night and probably forgot to take the jacket off before getting in the house. Again she mentioned that she never saw him afterward so she had no way of returning the jacket. As for why she kept it all these years: She probably didn't really know what to do with it, I mean at that point what was she supposed to do give it away, throw it out? Wouldn't really seem right. So she just kept it, thinking that maybe she'd run into him again or something and then eventually forgot about it until now.

OOOH I CAN TOTALLY SHIP NATHAN AND AMY!!!! IM HERE FOR IT

All the comments about Ty coming back... How ??? He was killed off because Graham Wardle left... Bringing Ty back would kill the show because in what way could they ? It would be unrealistic and would be a different actor. Also, would why is it so wrong for a young single mother to find love again !!

I hope that this is not another try to replace Ty. It just can't be done. It was too long and happy a love affair. I feel like it is almost too late and fake to replace Ty. As Amy said , " He gave us enough love to fill a lifetime." So maybe it has. If you want to keep it real than let Ty be the love of her life. If not, try to bring Graham back and you will a few more seasons for them to get it all back together. But I would stop throwing men at Amy trying to fill a void that does not have enough time to fill.

You are so right Carol! Ty should go down as the love of Amy's life end of story. Exactly like Marion, Amy's mother said she gave her heart away along time ago. For the writers of Heartland... Season 17 was the worst of all seasons... I've never seen a widow Amy not visit her Husband's grave, I've never seen a widowed mother not say anything about her father to her daughter Lindy... Amy's love for Ty (was it true or not?) doesn't say anything about her deceased husband to anyone, not even her own daughter. Amy had a date with 3 different guys and in the end she ended up with the worst one, Nathan, a thief who stole Garland from Heartland. The only one with sense in his head is Jack who knows who Nathan really is... In short Heartland ended a long time ago since season 14... Season 18 will probably be the last and the worst... Just my opinion

Watching season 17 on Prime. I do agree that I was more hopeful of things to come in this season. Anyway, will be anxiously awaiting Season 18 and can only pray it’s what I am anticipating. Love the series. But I certainly am praying for a Ty, Lyndy & Amy reunion of him being alive in season 18. 🤍

Oh great Shane is back, maybe his awful half sisters will treat him better unlike the last episode..

This looks like the best episode of season 17. More interesting and hopefully it will be a nice wedding.

Yes, that's right Nathan and Amy won't be together thank God. Plus the Pryces stole Garland from Heartland Beef all in this episode. And Nathan spoke badly about Amy's love for Ty and she dumped him thank God and then Amy went to the swing to think about Ty. A very good episode for those like me who didn't want to see Nathan and Amy together. Amy has to focus on her daughter and the love Ty left her

Ya Luke would have been a nice return. Could have made a secondary story around him . Hey Amy could adopt him and stepdad Nathan could have a full family then!! Lol!

Dont get me wromg nobody could EVER replace Ty!! We all miss him sooo much!❤ but it was his own choice to leave Heartland i wish he didnt but he cant come back now i mean what r they gonma do bring him back to life lol. I miss him so much but the show needs to contiue they cant just quit heartland because Ghram Wardle wanted to leave

But when you take the best actor out (regardless of him leaving) and were the core of the show is about him and Amy you just can't make a few adjustments and say it's business as usual! The show plain and simple ended with Graham's departure! (Period) Turn a family show into a soap!! Forget it! There are many many family show supporters and then there are soap fanatics! I would dare the executive to simply end the show at the end of this season and attempt to make a movie! They would fall flat on there face! Strictly a money crab for Amber, Michelle Chris!!

​@@wildriverstable123 I think we will agree to disagree on this one. I am 100% with you on your comments about Ty. For me they simply should end the show as for me the real story ended when Graham left! If they want and believe they will get enough fans to watch they can start a new show(call it something other than Heartland) and go with it. The executive I think know they will not get enough interest if the direction of the show is what they have produced so far in season 15-17! Fan support is dropping episode by episode.

It’s way past time for Amy to move on. She will find the right guy. She’s to young to be alone her whole life. And she has so much to offer.

Yup you are so right jennifer! Sure not like seasons 1-13! I know Graham will never return but once he left the show ended! And that is a fact! The true storyline ended, the quality of the picture went down, the acting looked like they were reading straight from Q cards! And then for various reasons the key actors started to drop from the show and more to come at end of season 17 (character Jack, Lisa) ! What's that leave us?? " THE FLEMING" 3 some! Yuk!!! Time to end the show and save what face you have left!! Just saying!
