To be fair, they didn’t love each other, they hardly knew each other. And he was in love with the love of his life who his family wouldn’t let him marry. I’m sorry Charles and Diana had to be unhappy together, and sad about Diana tragically dying, but I’m glad to have William around and I’m glad that Charles got to be with his true love in the end.

Prince Philip was a hero in my eyes! He was man enough to be a loyal support and devoted husband to the Queen for over 70 years! It takes a rare, real man with a self knowledge of himself and his manhood to dedicate his life to the support of a woman whom he walked a few steps behind in everything they did . I believe they shared a deep love and respect for each other that is stronger than any role or position one has. He never came across as less a man or less than his wife! They were a blessing to each other!!

I was born in 1952, as the Queen was officially crowned in 1953. I had lived through all our queens life, and when the Christmas tv recordings came on, we really felt as if we had the Queen with us,in our homes, and a part of our family too. To me she was realky marvellous, training how to do basic mechanics on the vehicles she drove through the war, he impeccable horse riding, and I was always thrilled to see her ride side saddle, which as also a lover of horses and have tried riding side saddle, can assure you it is extremely difficult to do,do well, and keep an upright position in. It’s sad that we never see any other Royal, not even Princess Anne rude like that, so sadly another tradition seems to have passed with her, last year ut was also my 70th Jubilee, and I wrote and told her I was sharing hers with her, but how much more spectacular hers would be by comparison. As always she somehow found time to drop me a short note wishing my many Happy Returns, and said I was welcome to share her fireworks as the poor corgis had to be shut away to the finish. I feel extraordinarily blessed to have lived my life with this remarkable woman as my Queen, she gave more than her all, and I’m just glad she is now reunited with her husband,sister and much loved parents . We will never be lucky enough to see her like again,,,we were truly lucky and Honoured. They have! Prince Philip banished her but for over 20 years she has been living in his house. She never saw him, when they were young, always away and she made some foolish mistakes.

The late Queen’s Sister Margaret WAS the FIRST ROYAL to divorce in over 400 years. 1st since Henry VIII in 1533. Margaret filed in May of 1978 and it was finalized in July of the same year.

I wish Andrew and Fergie could have stayed married, they were so good together! I think they're truly soulmates.

@@KourttneyL - Charles was doing what most of the Royal men before him did, marry the young virgin, have the heir and the spare, and have mistresses. That was the way it was done. Occasionally, they’d marry the one they loved, like Victoria, George V and George VI and Elizabeth II. Diana should have been advised much better than she was. Her sister dated Charles, she knew, she should have told Diana don’t expect the fairytale. 13 years isn’t too bad an age difference later on, it’s too much at 20 and 33. He was experienced she was naive, she was city, he was country. They were oil and water. Charles was basically ordered to take a bride and procreate, and Camilla was not on the approved bride list. The Queen Mum and Lady Fermoy threw Diana to the wolves. I don’t completely blame Charles, I actually blame Diana too………how stupid can you be?

They shouldn’t have gotten married to begin with. It was a mistake.

As a mother, I had felt very sorry for the Queen. Seems your kids these days give no peace. Their decisions are pitholes on a colorful highway leaving parents with unnecessary anxiety and heartache. The end still brings no relief as you watch them suffer the outcome; tormented wondering what the heck you did wrong.

Society has opened the doors for children to stray away from their parents wishes. And parents have allowed their power to be diminished for the past 50 years. Letting children "be children" instead of teaching them how to become a responsible adult. Adulthood lasts much longer than childhood. Parents have a very limited time to get it right. And now we have adult children running around afraid to "adult".

Over the years, Andrew and Sarah seemed to be close. It was suggested by many that they’d remarry after Philip died. They still might. They appear to still love each other very much.

Diana was not a really good person. Yes, she had the ability to connect warmly with ordinary people but she was a troubled soul, very demanding, attention seeking (often called the paparazzi herself), cheated (as the first and several times) and spread lies (at her own accord) that still continue to damage King Charles to this day. I am sorry she had to die that young but I don’t miss her.

He used to cut short his meetings to be home in time for the kids bathtime when they were very little. He even changed nappies. First Prince of Wales to ever do that I imagine! Óptics are everything for the RF. Seeing the outpour of grief and love from her subjects should have made the Queen realize she needed to be out there with the public. Had she not done so, the public would have been angered by her aloofness and coldness as it concerned the death of the Mother of her two grandchildren and one of them future King.

The monarchy creates a difficult and unnatural life for family members.

The Queen’s speech after Diana’s death was unremarkable. It was flat and devoid of any real emotion, in fact, the Queen seemed inconvenienced about having to acknowledge it. And then the Queen did what she does best - she simply carried on.

His marriage required an aristocratic virgin, and by what I’ve seen/heard/read ‘at that time, there weren’t many to choose from.’ Diana was both, cowmilla was neither. If he hadn’t been playing around until he was 33 years old, it might have been different. But he did, and here we are. He has four heirs, cowmilla and he’s (wrongly) on the throne. He has everything he wants and Diana is dead.

How can you imagine and say that the queen and Philip are great they are murdering people and raising their kids to think it's ok to do so. I think they live in the same house and caring for the two corgis that the Queen had at the time of her death. I don’t think it’s anything more than living in the same house.

All of the Royal Family since the abdication of King Edward the 8th..was blessed with the royal family that came from that....Queen Elizabeth the 2nd and Prince Philip...are a family to me and they have brought up their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren...are the product of the love of a family

I don’t care what anyone says Diana was so ahead of her time. She was literally still an innocent child when she married Charles. And I wholeheartedly believe that was done on purpose they really thought she was going to be submissive and easy to control. She turned out to be so much more fascinating

I was born during her reign it's hard to believe that she is gone, I'll miss her but I hope the chapel can be brightened up a bit so that the pictures of whose in the chapel so that not only walking on her but we can see a picture of what they looked like in real life because some young ones who will be in different years will want to know what she looked like when they look at the year and want to know if she was kind which I'm sure she was

I know that The Duke and Duchess of York still love each other even though they are divorce, I think they just came to a mutual decision to separate. They just wanted to be civil for the sake of their two daughters. Out of the royal divorces, its their divorce that I quite like in a sense that they still have respect to one another.

@@JGJGAGSG Actually I am in the minority, I have respect for Camilla. I do not hold a grudge against her and The King for what happened years ago. I am discerning enough to see what happened during his marriage to Diana, it should never have happened. All parties could have behaved better in my opinion, but at least with C&C they were clearly soulmates with a long lasting love..Charles didn't risk everything just for a meaningless fling. I can assure you I have definitely got over it! It just made me laugh how it was said, then later on in the doc a similar thing was said regarding Di's riding instructor. I'm sorry I didn't return to my comment to edit it when he spoke about Di, it was just a light hearted joke.

My heart still breaks at the loss of her Majesty. I may be American but she was the only Queen I've ever known for 60 years. I miss her sorely. I've watched the Queen mother's funeral, Princess Margaret, Princess Diana, Prince Philip and now her Majesty's. I hope King Charles upholds everything the Queen stood for. May she rest in peace and God save the King.

This documentary says that Charles and Diana cheated on eachother but it fails to mention how he was the one who cheated on her right from the beginning, and she was broken hearted, even became bulimic, and years after being hopeless and feeling loveless in their 3 person marriage, she then found other men as he was clearly cheating anyways and didn't care less.

Charles never love ❤️ Diana. He marries her to have his children , look like he love William but when harry was born he don’t really want a boy he want a girl , so he is very disappointed so he really dislike her , he cheated her since the day before he married her and after that days forward, he find the ways to be with Camilla all the times, then how do you want Diana to feel stay married and be misery , Camilla marries to Parker Bowls but she cheated on him the beginning till they divorced . Diana just wanted her husband to love her. Charles was abusive to Diana. Charles pushed Diana into other mens arms by how how he neglected her. Shame on Charles. It may have been years ago, but over the years when they were married Charles showed his weak character.

The Royal family controls what’s being said about them. They control the narrative. He does t want the public to be reminded of his cheating trolling days. It’s easier to say they both cheated as if it takes the heat off of him. Camilla has grown on me to some degree but she is and never will be a Princess Diana. I do respect that she never took the title of Princess of Wales though. She did that out of respect for Diana. Or maybe she knew the public would come unglued if she did! Princess Diana didn’t lose her title of Princess but Charles demanded his mother take away HRH from her. The Queen was going to allow her to keep it until Charles got his pants in a bunch over it!

Charles was faithful to Diana in the early years of the marriage. Diana told Peter Settleton and Martin Bashir that she became aware when Charles had returned to Camilla and it was a few years into the marriage.

We must never forget that members of the British royal families are human beings like all the others. They are not reptiles, they are PEOPLE like all the others, although they have many more duties and responsibilities. So, being warm and kind human creatures, they have the right to make mistakes, have their disappointments, their heights and falls... We must never blame them for any faults we think they have! I adore Lady Diana! She was an angel sent to Earth and taken back! But I also adore the love King Charles III and Queen Camilla have always had for each other! So I think we should never contradict one member of the British royal family to another! We must be fair and grateful to have all these gorgeous people into the life of Britain, the Commonwealth AND THE WHOLE WORLD!

So why did her body guard Reese Jones let her in the car with someone suspected of drinking.?

Even the queen had to battle and carefully tread around the media.
