Better explained than the doctor that explained it to our entire class of medical students! The model of the human torso is very expensive, but I can see it is worth it. Great job and a sincere thank you!

Great explanation. I have been a paramedic for 25 years and this is a great description of how, what, where and overall explanation of heart sounds. I wish this was available years ago.

Thank you for creating a very practical connection between the cardiac cycle (systole, diastole) and types of murmurs! I have never been taught or read about murmurs in that way and now I'm confident that I can more likely identify stenosis or regurgitation.

+Roma Fitzgerald thank you! I promise you will never forget murmurs again. not sure why everybody doesn't teach it this way. The second I made this connection . . it clicked!

I am a bit confused. At min 4:39 for the aortic valve sound, why do you mention the mid-clavicular line, shouldn't be 2nd ICS, R sternal margin/ border? (MCL is further located than the SMB). www.researchgate.net/figure/Bony-surface-landmarks-on-the-anterior-chest-Note-the-commonly-used-reference-lines-A_fig1_5581284 Otherwise, superb explanation - thank you!

nope . . .you're hearing it right. Believe it or not, murmurs are not heard over the valve. It has to do with how the valve sounds echo through the heart.
