Okay, time for my favorite of six songs focused on a specific wife: “Heart of Stone”.
This song is definitely the saddest song in the musical. If you ask me, Henry didn’t deserve any of his wives, but especially not Jane Seymour. If she was anything like she is in the musical, she was a genuinely kind and caring person, and the fact she dies not too long after having a son is tragic…
My love for this song originally made me want to make Aquarius, my sign, Jane, but I decided against it for a few reasons, the main one being I thought “I Don’t Need Your Love” fit my personality, which I decided to give to Aquarius(since I’m an Aquarius), better.
But yeah, enjoy. Next will be “Haus of Holbein”, honestly the goofiest song in the musical.
