Love your show.❤ I'm 70 now, going on 20. It's so nice to see young people like yourself enjoying and appreciating the music of my era when I was in my teens. There's a British🇬🇧 group from the days of the MODS & the ROCKERS back in the late 1960s and early 70s called the WHO that were the bad boys of the time. They were actually banned from the BBC. But. They produced great music. They actually produced the first rock opera, called TOMMY, about a deaf, dumb and blind kid, which was later made into a film featuring Tina Turner, Elton John, Oliver Ried, and the members of the group in it. They had many big classic hits, like Pinball Wizard, Won't get Fooled Again, Ba Ba Riley, and My Generation. Look them up On KZread. You won't be disappointed.

Yup , Heart was big in the 80’s . Great songs. Some are classics that never grow old , like beautiful song The Dog and the Butter Fly or the full out rock and roll song Wild Child. So many great songs. 😊

I saw this tour (in '84-'85?) in Columbus Ohio, the band Mr. Mister warmed up for them...Both are great! They didn't like this album because many of the songs were written by other people and not themselves, but it was their most popular album with 4 or 5 Hits off of it.

There are plenty of great songs by Heart for you to react to, but there are two songs you must react to prior to finishing up with them. Their cover of Led Zeppelin's "Battle of Evermore" is fabulous, and showcases Nancy as a singer as well as musician and Ann as a musician as well as a vocalist, so it is very coo. Also, a live version of "Dog And Butterfly", especially from the late 1970's is a must see song from them! Enjoying your reactions!!

From about 82 to 92 Ann was at the peak of her vocal control. In that time frame not many singers' male or female could touch her singer rock.

They weren't very happy about how they were made to poof themselves up for these videos they did in the 80s. They just wanted to be themselves. But the music company had more control, so big hair and hyped up sexiness was the result.

Yes, that was Ann Wilson from the Alive in Seattle Tour 2001. Many good videos from that one. I recommend Alone, Barracuda or any really.

The 80s Heart was different in many ways but still good music. I prefer the harder rockin style but their later stuff wasn’t bad, just a different vibe…kinda like Styx who changed up as well. (I’m looking forward to Barracuda…you’re gonna flip!)

This video is 80s excess in full. I love Heart so much, but it breaks my heart how little camera time Ann gets despite pouring her soul into her music with her powerhouse voice. Her weight problems began around this time, so the videos focused on Nancy. Both sisters hated the way the music executives marketed them. Ann & Nancy care about the music: the steak, not the sizzle.

"If Looks Could Kill" is pretty good. Or "There's the Girl" if you want more of a ballad. For more similar bands you could check out Vixen.. "How Much Love" for example.
