Now that's the Queen! Amazing doesn't begin to describe this song and her voice!!!
When I was a young teen I wore this album out! It was called Little Queen. This song starts with the amazing mandolins which is actually called Sylvan Song and leads into Dream Of The Archer. Thanks for posting this. I've seen Heart about 4x and Ann's voice is the best and Nancy is really a very underrated guitar player.

When the band (bass, etc.) comes in, it gives me goosebumps every time. The entire album is a masterpiece.
This is really by favorite Heart song - with Sylvan Song instrumental leading into Dream of the Archer. It really highlights the acoustic mandolin and guitar playing skills of the band members not to mention the incomparable voice of Ann Wilson!

Ann's phrasing on the studio version is just absolutely mesmerizing! And that last note is killer! Have you watched Cook with Fire live? Outstanding rock song, and they were on fire that night! Check it out!

Most of Heart is new to me, just a tad before my time. I'll have to go back and see your previous reactions to them. This song had a folk/rock song feel to it.

Loved it and I hadn't heard this one before
if you like Heart's harder material or like metal with Ann's voice just shrieking check out "Black on Black" from 1993. It was a Top 5 Billboard rock chart album cut in the US and got a lot of airplay on hard rock and metal stations, but it wasn't released as a pop single (Heart's record company never released their harder and heavier material as singles which really sucks; the record company wanted power ballads like "Alone" for singles instead of their better music). There are some live videos out there, but definitely check out the studio version first, from the Desire Walks On album.
