@stelity Because the police are already unable to act and understaffed. We literally had police chiefs who went before Congress recently because of the issue with their DA. Their DA will punish police officers for doing their job and side with criminals. A police officer died and other officers scolded the governor of New York until she left his funeral. She is extremely pro defunding police. It's in the news sooo much, you must have a really nice looking rock you're living under to blame police and not the politicians and their minions.

This is crazy, the City isn’t safe anymore. I don’t understand all this crimes that is happening around NYC.

Time for them to move out of NYC. This is no place to raise kids esp. if you have the money to get out. And that area has never been good, anyway.

Yeah, he bragged about a 7% drop in February 2024 (year over year) but forgot to mention the 100% increase in the 2 years prior! No exaggeration! A 58% increase in Feb-2022 and a 47% increase in Feb-2023. Combined it's 105% increase from 2021 😂😂😂 So now it's just at 98% more crime than 2021. 🤣 That's how they "lie" while telling a technical truth.
