    Ah that's how finger coils work. :) I'm about a 3a/b and I was wondering why sections of my hair will be ringlets at the bottom but more springy spirals up top, defining them is clearly key. :)

    Beautiful! All three of you have such gorgeous, healthy hair. On the subject of hair growth, has anyone here had success with biotin? I was taking a hair, skin, and nails vitamin that contained aloe, and I have discovered that I have an aloe allergy! So I'm switching to pure biotin drops.

    Does anyone have any finger detangling advice? I’m really prone to breakage when I use combs and brushes but I feel like when I finger detangle the section is still tangled no matter how many times I go over it.

    4udumn you can pre-poo with a good deep conditioner (without silocones and sulfates for the healthiest result)be with it on ther hair for like an hour or so, and then in the shower you can try to detangle your hair with your fingers..

  • @patriciadmeza1908

    @patriciadmeza1908

    6 жыл бұрын

    BluGum Jade Hi! It depends on your hair type and porosity. I spent a year transitioning and it was pretty hard until I found out my hair was naturaly low porosity but some parts were high porosity because of the damage, as well as multitextured (combo of 3b, 3c and 4a). What worked best for me during that period was using water based butters and sealing oils (almond, jojoba, cocunut), distributing the amount of product in sections (because certain sections needed more moisture), and always protective styling (braided hairstyles, braid outs, twist outs, buns, etc). I never did a wash and go until I big chopped (it just didn't work). Of course add to all that a lot of patience! I wish I would have been a little bit more brave then and just chopped it all off, but I wasn't, so now I would totally suggest anyone to big chop as soon as possible. Everything is way better after you get rid of all the damage. ♥️

    Patricia Elizabeth im 13 im definitely not doing a big chop😂 but thank you for the advice, my hair type is a mixture of 4b and 4c (4b at the front and 4c near the back) im starting to use the aunt Jackie's products and i use cream of nature (shampoo and the conditioner) to wash my hair with. I asked my family for advice but all the did was complain about how my hear is breaking off which does not help as i already know that so all i can really do is turn to the internet😂 (so far im 8 months post relaxer and i have about 4-5 inches of new growth)

  • @patriciadmeza1908

    @patriciadmeza1908

    6 жыл бұрын

    BluGum Jade hahaha then I totally recommend butters and lots of moisture! You can also look up how to do henna gloss and rice water rinse, that will help strengthen your hair (and just remember your new growth is stronger than your relaxed hair, so the damage will break off inevitably, just make sure your are giving your new hair lots of moisture and protein so that it can keep growing healthy). Soon enough it will reach a length where you'll feel comfortable cutting the damage off. Keep up the motivation girl! You won't regret it!

    She's a wavy. You have a different routine when you have wavy hair because loose curl patterns are prone to falling flat, especially with longer styles because of the weight of wet hair. The care/styling of type 2, type 3, and type 4 hair are so different, I don't understand why everyone always is throwing shade at Grace for having a loose curl pattern.
