Wow thanks so much
Each cooking lesson I get from Chetna is a step closer to my kitchen making the same food. Any recipe she makes makes my tastes and my mind feel wonderful thinking about making and eating the same dish at home.

Wow, thank you
Mom served peas and carrots quite a lot when I was growing up but never like this. I can't wait to try it!
Hi Chetna, one of the best things I’ve ever eaten was a carrot a pea sabji just like yours. It was made by the daughter of a workmate who was from Pakistan. Luckily he brought some for all of us. Best work lunch I ever had.

@@FoodwithChetna I already have. It was really good, really easy. Nowhere near as good as yours or my friend’s daughter’s but still great. If I can make friends with a local gardener and get fresh seasonal veg it would be even better😀
I realize this was posted like a year ago, but I need a side dish for tonight. Can't wait to try it!
Hi Chetna that's looks delicious too, it's simple, easy and quick to cook, I will give that a try too 😋😁☺️❤️
Looks delicious!

Well, that looks like a LOT of work to get a side dish of peas & carrots, but it also looks like it will be very tasty, so I'll HAVE to try it❣️
Looks really beautiful.
Interesting about the Indian carrots. I am subscribed to a few Indian channels and noticed visual differences in some basic vegetables and was wondering if they taste differently, too. I know that for example the Indian bay leaf tastes and smells differently than what we call a bay leaf in Europe. So when I cook something Indian it may end up tasting differently than intended. Doesn't matter, the main thing it's spicy enough to make me cry, ha ha. And Nutribullet, I have an expensive blender, but since I got this cheaply I use it for everything, even spice mixes.
This looks absolutely amazing! Definitely going to put it on next week's menu 😍

Am I right, you served the sabzi with moong dal fry (posted recently)? And if I can't get to the Indian supermarket for methi chapattis, can I add methi/dried fenugreek to the sabzi itself? I'm new to the ingredient (as in never used it) but I loved the "minty" flavour in the wraps/chapattis. Thank you so much
Happy holi Chetna . 🙏

There is a time and place for "overcooked peas" - for me it's pea soup (with ham hock or Greek feta and mint/parsley) to add natural sweetness and intensity of flavour or in my family's recipe "pasta with peas", which relies on cooing down onions, peas and pork mince until it tastes like one (pork add savoury and all 3 add sweetness when left to simmer) and it is just comfort food! I can't explain it good enough because nothing tastes like it.
Happy Holi 💙💚💛🧡❤️💜

Not really as the extra virgin olive oil has a very strong flavour.....
Love watching, but I really need a recipe for this, especially the seasonings used. I heard "cumin seeds", but missed the next ingredient...
