I feel like God showed me your video to let me know that I’m not alone and maybe so I could tell you the same! I have been on Cabergoline for my 6mm prolactinoma for a year now. It has taken my prolactin from 109 to 13:). My endocrinologist is trying to get me off of cabergoline in the next month or so if my tumor is gone. I just wanted to share my positive experience with you. I wish you the best!

I was diagnosed with a pituitary adenoma approximately 44 years ago. I took parlodel (Bromocriptine) for at least 25 years. I am doing fine. I haven’t taken medication for over 10 years. My prolactin levels are still slightly elevated at 33 but a recent MRI showed a very small microadenoma. Surgery has not been recommended for me. I wish you the best.

For all those with health anxiety (and that includes me) please note that a pituitary tumor is NOT a brain tumor, and is not cancer. I've not met a single medical person who calls it either of those things. It is a benign growth on the pituitary gland. It is treatable. It isnt life-threatening. I have one. Im a male with high prolactin (over 1200 mu/L, thats about 58 ng/ML), with consequent symptoms - which are not great fun. But lets not over-sensationalize this. Its a treatable medical condition.

Hi friend! I'm so sorry you are walking through this journey. I also have struggled with health anxiety my whole life, so I completely understand the feelings. I have actually had surgery to remove the tumor since this video! The surgery is performed by a neurosurgeon and my medical records do say the words "benign brain tumor". While it is incredibly treatable and not life-threatening, and that's such a gift, it is still a type of brain tumor. Sending you so much love and prayers for your journey!

I’m sorry that you are going through this Gabbi! I can’t imagine how scary the past couple months have been like for you with all the tests and uncertainty you have been facing. I have been watching your videos for the past couple months because I like your openness, vulnerability, and want to help girls. The fact that you are so open with your faith throughout this video (and I’ve noticed in other videos), and how much you have been leaning on the Lord during this process is great to hear - as I too am a Christian. I am praying for you Gabbi. “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” (Deuteronomy 31:8)

Thank you, thank you. I can’t tell you how much this means to me 🤍 The Lord is my lifeline and the only reason I’m not consumed with anxiety in the midst of this. I feel so cleansed and full of peace for the future, which I know can only come from Him. I’m so thankful for your prayers and this verse!!!! It’s one I’ve come back to many times during this season! So thankful for you! Sending you so much love and prayers 🤍

@@gabbacado I don’t want to take anything away from this video at all with this comment and I know this channel is more about helping girls and women with holistic health and wellness, but would you be willing to sometime do a video on your Christian testimony? I’m asking because your Christian faith is so important to you and has helped you/is helping you through some pretty difficult things. I’d be interested in hearing it. I’m sure you’ve seen other Christian testimony videos before on what they are like. If you don’t want to, it’s okay. Just a thought.

I have one of these too. 15 years of problems finally found out what it was, (incompatant and lazy doctor) I found a new doc and he sent me to an endocronalogist who did blood work for my low testosteroneI (had a testosterone of 2) NO energy or stamina slept 16 to 18 hrs a day. (and at 60 i dont have that many good years and cant afford to waste them) I had constant head aches and dizzyness, and bright flashes of my my vision. And bingo high prolactine. she put me on Bromocriptine and the energy and stamina is much better (I can walk now in to get my drugs etc)... Worst part of mine ...Nausea and vomiting, and sexual drive increased dramatically and that was much darker than I was ever prepared for. I have to keep going. No mri yet, waiting for appt.1 month into treatment and on the road to a better life.

I just found out that I have a tumor at 40. The symptoms have been there for years, but doctors never put it together until now. I really appreciate the doctor that sent me for an MRI. I was questioning myself. Like, I knew something wasn't right, but told I was fine. So it was kinda a relief finding out and knowing I'm not crazy. The not knowing what to expect is scary. I appreciate you sharing your story. Thank you!

This is me!! I’ve had irregular periods for years and could not have children. No doctor ever tested my prolactin in the past. Fast forward, and I now haven’t had a period in 10 months (I’m 41) so my new doctor sent me for blood work. Turns out I have high prolactin which is causing menopause-like symptoms. I’m waiting for an MRI to confirm if I have a pituitary tumour. Such a crazy feeling. I went into the blood work thinking I was just going into menopause really young and need HRT…to find out I might have a tumour in my brain!

Hi there!!! Came across this video in my search to find out what exactly is that I am going through right now. Just got my second set of test results and my Prolactin levels came back high at 84.7 ng/mL and the first time it was a lower 81.4 ng/mL which are both out of the normal since I am to be between 2.5-22.5 level. This is nerve wrecking but I think according to my Endocrinologist, we can attack this via medicine, pending an MRI of course. Thank you for sharing your story!!!

mine grew back after 4.5 years. I had a second surgery 1 year ago and now its back already and its very big. I wish i knew what makes it grow. A surgery every year is too overwhelming and financially difficult. 700 per month for health insurance with an 8400 deductible works out to 1400 per month forever.

I have one I read an article that gluten intolerance or gluten allergy can cause this. Also milk. You can Google. Not trying to get ur hopes up just trying to help I cut gluten completely and I’m on cabergoline I’m gonna see where it takes me. Hate when ppl don’t take my gluten allergy serious tho so be careful when out eating

SAMEEEE told someone else in the comments I read gluten allergy or intolerance can increase prolactin and I think milk too. I completely cut gluten and I’ve gone on cabergoline and it’s gonna be a slow process cause cabergoline takes 6-8 weeks to start working my doctor said but I already am feeling better except for some mild side effects of the meds and the usual bone pain/osteoporosis pain I feel from having high prolactin

Hi. I am currently waiting for my MRI results to see if I have a pituitary tumor. 😅 I also struggled with an eating disorder for a while but recovered and got my period back. But my period is still super irregular. I actually have the exact opposite of what you have. My prolactin is SUUPER low, and other hormones are too. 🤯 I’m exhausted all the time, I have headaches, anxiety, mood swings. Waiting for answers because I have felt like this for YEARS 😣

Gabbi...First off... I am also a christian and talk to god every day and try to life a "godly life" .. that said ... I find it refreshing that you can speak so openly about your faith. I am ( at 63) uncomfortable exposing such deep beliefs to others. I know the bible says to tell others about the wonders of god but I cant find that strength. I think you are awesome to have that. Don't get me wrong I am flawed But that is one of the things I talk to him about. I hope one day to be worthy of him.

Same bro, been feeling pretty fatigued and low energy at times. Thought it was just tiredness from being active with kids, work life etc. decided to get blood work done going into my 30s to see where I’m at with overall health. Found my test levels low and prolactin level high. Got MRI and was sent to a specialist for more testing and treatment. That’s in July. Hoping this can go away so I can get my mojo back. 🤞🏼
