Love the title of your video. Just thinking about the past, where/when so many artists were lost for not caring for themselves. You are part of a new generation of artists, who are changing that, creating beautiful things, and building healthy lives, so You can keep thriving. I support that!!!

So glad to hear you’re healing ❤️ and remember that if your body asks for rest, it’s not a temptation of laziness. Burn out is very real and dangerous🫶🏼 especially in a society that conditions us to work and see that as normal. You might never be as productive as you used to, and that’s a good thing. No comparing, only compassion. Creating less, but with purpose for the process, not the production!

Listening to yourself ask how to be faster at painting and questioning whether you're a perfectionist just makes me so sad for our generation!! The society we live in thrives of perfectionism, we are all made to be perfectionists, everything we do is expected to be our best and we have to all strive to be individual and constantly do things faster or better than other people we are taught to treat our lives as running a business and like everything we do has to be some sort of self improvement. But I look at what you get up to and the care and effort you put into things and it's amazing. There is no rush, being as slow and careful as you want is a way of going against the system,, and a way of being more content, with your life so do it!

For me it's the total opposite, I try to get a painting/drawing fast as possible done :D so it's almost always half-a*s rendered... I need to take more time and slow down! Great video as always

How fast you paint is not really important part of painting, people should paint because they want to free their creativity. But I think it is helpful to admire the imperfection of things, furthermore I think a bigger brush helps to increase the speed.
