Over the past 65 years, around 50,000 people all over the world traveled to the small village Snasa in the north of Norway. They hope, that the self-identified psychic and faith healer Joralf Gjerstad is able to help them out of their misery. They seek him for all kinds of different reasons: a girl is struggling with a hardly explored illness, another woman is living with constant anxiety, while a former construction worker still suffers from the consequences of a horrible work accident. But they all have something in common. They all hope, that "the man with warm hands" is able to change their life with a compassionate gesture.
