Chuck Mcgill: "THE LAW IS SACRED" "I know he swapped those numbers, I just couldn't prove it" Jesse Pinkman: "THE COIN FLIP IS SACRED" "Mr. White poisoned Brock, he can't keep getting away with it" It's amazing how sometimes characters speeches overlap & can have similar significances & during season 5 Jesse was going on his own Chicanery rant. Lol

If Walt had dissolving the body, it definitely woulda gone without a hitch, no melted ceiling, no renovations needed. Had Jesse dealt with Krazy-8, hard to say, I think he would have done it, but also what would that have done to him emotionally. Jesse, who hadn't killed anyone himself until the end of season 3, and Gale's death destroyed him. Would have definitely changed his emotional trajectory early on.

I think he might not have done it. Krazy-8 knew Jesse, so his assurances that he wouldn't hold a grudge if they let him go might have been more persuasive.

Jesse's heart raced as he looked into Krazy 8's pleading eyes. The tension in the basement was palpable, and Jesse's grip on the chain loosened slightly. He hesitated, torn between the brutal reality of their situation and the slim possibility that Krazy 8 could actually be trusted. "Come on, man," Krazy 8 whispered urgently. "We've talked. We've shared things. You know I'm not just some heartless monster." Jesse's mind raced. He remembered the conversations they'd had during Krazy 8's captivity, the stories they'd exchanged about their lives before the drug trade consumed them both. A flicker of doubt crossed his mind. Could Krazy 8 really be telling the truth? Walter, who had been observing the situation, grew increasingly impatient. "Jesse, think about what you're doing. We can't afford to take risks. He's a threat." Jesse glanced at Walter, then back at Krazy 8. His grip on the chain faltered, and he slowly lowered it. Krazy 8's eyes widened with a mix of hope and gratitude. "Listen to me, man," Krazy 8 said earnestly. "I've got connections, yeah, but I want out of this life. I want a chance to start over, away from all of this." Jesse's mind was a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. He knew the dangers of letting Krazy 8 go, but he also couldn't shake the feeling that maybe, just maybe, this could be a turning point. "Jesse, you can't seriously be considering this," Walter hissed, his frustration evident. Jesse turned to Walter, his eyes burning with a mix of defiance and uncertainty. "Maybe there's another way, Mr. White. Maybe we don't have to keep doing this." Walter's face contorted with anger, but he saw the determination in Jesse's eyes. He knew that Jesse was struggling with the weight of their actions and the toll it was taking on their souls. After a tense silence, Walter finally nodded, begrudgingly accepting Jesse's decision. "Fine. But if this goes wrong, it's on you." Jesse turned back to Krazy 8, his voice shaky. "Get out of here. If I ever see you again, though…" Krazy 8 nodded vigorously. "You won't, man. Thank you." As Krazy 8 left the basement, Jesse's heart pounded in his chest. He knew that he had just taken an enormous risk, one that could come back to haunt them. But he also couldn't ignore the glimmer of hope he felt, a belief that maybe he could find a way out of the darkness that had consumed their lives. In this scenario, allowing Krazy 8 to go free would have created a significant divergence from the actual "Breaking Bad" plotline. The consequences of this decision could have led to various outcomes, including potential alliances, conflicts, and moral dilemmas for Jesse and Walter as they navigated their paths in the drug trade.

*tangentially related life hack:* if you're trying to decide between two things and cant really rank the two in preference, flip a coin, but decide based on your reaction to the results rather than the results themselves. If it lands heads and you make like walt in this situation, its clear that you would prefer if it were tails, and vice versa.

Sorry but I'll fight to my grave with this one, season 1 was absolute best of the show. The tension of Skyler not knowing a thing yet and Hank's close calls were so intense all the time. Then was the thriving business of Jesse and Walt before Gus and Saul came to picture and gave them easy hand and skip alot of their building. I just liked this one the best.
