    All Headrush have balanced outputs and can be connected directly to the console, HOWEVER only the Pedalboard and Prime have XLR outputs. The others have balanced TRS 1/4” outputs, so you would need TRS to XLR cables, in order to plug into an XLR input

So I had to pull back out my valve amp of cause anything sounds good threw a real valve . As we just play in a duet at present was hoping to get rid of the valve amp weight and room. Yes, I believe it is possible to get excellent guitar tones from the MX5. Some people have difficulty creating those tones (due to lack of experience), and for them the best option is to start with some pre made sounds that others have created. I have no experience with the other pedals you mention, so I can’t comment on those

    Hi Peter, thank you for the rigs, you have obviously given them a lot of thought. I noticed that you mentioned the Marshall tone but you have this mixed with a Bogner Blue, is this just a pairing that works. I was also interested to see no gain staging, but the combination of the Bogner and Marshall create a great sound, also a clever idea of engaging the graphic to pull some frequencies out, and tame it back a bit. I think your presentation is great with a balance of playing and talking and about the right length. I think someone asked about reverbs and more of an in depth dive - I think this would be a good idea. Can the HR sound like some of the most used reverb settings on a Strymon Big sky for example. Keep up the good work.

    Having different amps left and right gives the sound a width in the stereo field. If the amps are too similar it doesn’t seem to work quite as well. Eg. Vox and Matchless didn’t give me the width. I actually have a Headrush vs Big Sky video shot already, I just need to record an intro jam and edit it. Hopefully get that posted in a few days

    Hello, we just got the HR core recently and we will need a basic mixer to make all the needed connections; 2 singers, guitar & one keyboard (drummer has to hear us also) so trying to figure out what would be the best way of connecting the headrush to the mixer (mixer balanced output to PA speakers & at least one monitor for some upcoming small outdoor gigs). Not sure if you need your own mixer but wondering if you have connection suggestions...

  • @forthecreator1

    @forthecreator1

    I simply have two XLR cables going from Headrush to two channels on the mixer(channels are panned left and right). For monitoring I have a mix coming out of the aux output of the mixer, to a headphone amp, using in-ear-monitors. Alternatively, you could take that aux output to an FRFR

    @@forthecreator1Hi, thanks for the reply! I just found out that there are some adaptors for XLR called inline pads to make sure to match the mike inputs levels on a mixer, which I was concerned about. Do you use those or a DI box? If we want to keep the vocals & guitar outs separate, I guess headphone outs could work for monitoring?

  • @forthecreator1

    @forthecreator1

    4 ай бұрын

    I do not use a DI box or a pad. If the signal is still too hot after turning the gain on the mixer channel to zero, then I turn down the master volume knob on the front panel of the Headrush. Yes you can arrange your monitoring outputs however you wish. I recommend each person hasvthri own aux send: that way they can each have a difference mix, hearing whatever they need

    I'm planning on buying a Headrush Pedalboard, is it a good gear even in 2023?

    Absolutely. You can’t clone amps, but I’m not currently using that feature anyway

    @@forthecreator1Nice! I'm playing mostly worship kind of music, I was worrying about stereo effects and good amp simulation and mods...

    Thank you so much for considering a donation. The most common donation amount is $20, but any amount (or nothing) is fine

    @@forthecreator1 maybe i have mis seen it but are you using three different amps? I cant seem to do that on my gigboard! Maybe im missing an update? It will only let me have to amps. And how do you save different parameters to different scenes? I have made a scene and want to make another one on the same preset with different amp settings but when i tweak the amp in changes it on both scenes🤷

    Yes, Gigboard can run 4 amps in a Rig. If you use the link in the description to download the files, the rig should load up in all 3 amps, all the presets and scenes etc. Were you not able to download the zip file?

    Worries me that all the headrush demos are so wet sounding. Are we hiding the core tone of these things?

    Funny you say that: My earlier videos are much dryer, but (based on comments section) that was not what people wanted, so I adjusted
