I literally Just bout one of these units, I didn't read any manuals or instructions and I was pleasantly surprised, this is a great unit, and thank you for the extra information, holding on the pedal ect, Im looking forward to getting deep into this unit I do a mixture of acoustic, vocal to rocking out at church and also in other events, I do come from the helix background, and I love the unit, and the helix support, but I honestly think this unit is going to take its place. for sound quality ease of use portability, and the screen is fast and responsive, I hope it stands the test of time and I can do some recording also.

I just dropped 1200 Canadian with taxes yesterday on your tutorials. I am 67 now and can still do whats called for with a guitar! My JCM 800,s from 1984 are still in the cupboard. I was pulled between this and the line 6 pod go which is cool as well, but ended up with the Headrush core. Sold my Grandmeister 40 deluxe with the pedal to control it to buy this unit as i am retired now. Tons of really great stuff on the unit and figuring it all out is fun for sure. And quite easy to figure as well. I have an old digitech 2120 rack mount i still enjoy but its a different animal. Thanks for the tutorials and enjoy your week! Dave from Canada!

100 percent agree! I have fm3, helix, and I had mx5, not the core, and I found myself playing mx5 much more frequently than helix and fm3. Now I have core and love it. The interface is awesome! Don't get me wrong, I love all of them, but honestly, with HR, I just play music and don't jerk off the unit.

Brilliant vid bro! When you want to use the HR Core for guitar and vox, I'm guessing the vox rig and gtr rig are simultaneously to each pedal? eg. you might use one pedal for the verse of a song which simultaneously triggers the rig for the gtr and vox you've assigned to that pedal. Is that right?

  • @Ben9Massacre

@@seekandcrushthe headrush products don’t have drum sounds built in but it does have a Bluetooth receiver and USB-A port that you can play backing tracks from. There is no way to my knowledge to send that to the looper but is an acceptable workaround for most players, especially if you are up to the task of building your own backing tracks, you get some of that control back that you would have with looping. Like how many times to play an intro part or verse part to build your loop on top of your backing track.

2 questions, how are the vocal harmonies? I’m usually a solo acoustic vocal performer and have used tc helicon play acoustic pedal for harmony for years. If I can get a great acoustic sound out of this as well as vocal harmony that would cut down my board size. Also can you clone any pedal accurately? Such as reverb and tremolos and delays? I have some great strymon pedals I would hate to stop using but if I can clone them that would be awesome.

I am so unhappy with the Headrush core. There is no way it is worth $800.00. The audio driver is straight ass. There is latency when recording into my DAW (Cubase 13). You can only use the headrush driver no other ASIO and even at mimimal setting it has noticable latency on playback. I have a damned 20 year old RP 1000 that has 0 latency. I ended up ordering another Helix yesterday because it smokes this and after losing my other one I figured I would save some money by getting this. It does sound okay but cons outweighs the pros. Very limited tweaking and it is not that noticeable or sensitive to the changes like other multi effects and it has no PC/MAC editor that is common place with all multi effect processors since 2010.
