Love the beauty of the place you went to! I especially love the leopard lilies! That's what I love about Hunter creek too! The beauty of nature---big leaf maples, oaks, crimson columbine, mountain misery, giant ferns and leopard lilies. The Motherlode has so much more than gold to offer the adventurer! Thanks for the little tease of gold, but moreover thanks for sharing the wonders of it all!!!

You are the very best. So many channels just show the mechanics of mining, which is interesting. But I love how you show a perspective of the prospecting that is specific to whatever the conditions are where you're looking. For a newbie like me, this is fascinating, and instructional. I'm primarilly a fly fisherman who carries a little pan and a few hand tools when I'm spending the whole day traipsing up and down rivers in gold country (In general, N Idaho is not near the gold country that you have in the Sierras, but there's some here!) I'm used to "reading the water" for trout, but now there is this whole new "reading" of the hydrology, rocks, river conditions, (and the researching of claim acivity as a new winter sport) etc which deepens my experience up on the river. I'm so glad you do these videos!

You're videos are awesome. My problem is I stay in one location too long. Still learning and paying some dues because of it. Thanks again for another great video. Peach season is pretty heavy now, so it's going to be awhile before I get up in the hills.
