Pure shit. Someone ran out of friends and some guys like Revive are take advantage of it. Hardstyle is going through a very bad era. I call it the Vertile era. The era without emotion, of ghost-produced influencers who suddenly are at the top without knowing where they come from that release tracks that destroy the drive of musicality with so many drag kicks and fake drops to please an unfaithful and casual public. My advice for Level One is not to go down this path for some extra streams because you has been doing a good job so far. Be yourself.

I read alot af that "Don't touch classics" comments... I can't disagree more. I'd love to see some Artist revisit theire old Tracks and see what they can do with all the new tech and knowhow they got now. I'd love to see Digiwave e.g. as a remake. I love the new Kicks and synths, yet I love the nostalgia the old Tracks give me. I feel the nostalgia in this track too and i love the version! Thanks guys. Also: Why don't touch them? It's not like the original Version is lost as soon as someone does a remake of it. o.ô - If you diskile the "new" version, just keep listening to the original, it's really just that easy :)

Idk man... shit like this remix right here will come out of it and then the only thing you'll find when searching for that song is that new shitty remix. Remix? No. Remake? Only if it stays true and faithful to its original song. That's my opinion, and I'll die with it.

Did you guys even listen to this before releasing it?? Took the soul out of a timeless classic... Where is the screech pattern together with the kicks? And why would you even change anything in the melody?? I'm all for reviving the classics, but this is not how it should be done.
Cuando sea el día de los dj's a amar demasiado esta versión y aumentarlo

It is truly soul destroying to see Hardstyle classics get ruined by the modern day abomination known as "Hardstyle".

@@RSL-96 Considering you're using the term "fit in or f--k off" as an argument shows how little you know about Hardstyle. Hardstyle was an underground genre, people viewed you as an obnoxious weirdo if you were into Hardstyle. I am sure most people still would see you that way if you played them some classic Hardstyle. Hardstyle was never about fitting in, in fact Hardstyle was about daring to be different and reject what mainstream society thinks. That made it such a powerful and unique genre. It inspired me to become the person I am today. Most people are scared to be themselves, so they hide their true selves in order to "fit in". Hardstyle taught me to take pride in being different, instead of being ashamed of it. Modern "Hardstyle" is a commercial product that is desperately trying to get validated by the mainstream crowd, a crowd that the real Hardstyle crowd never wanted to satisfy or be associated with. I will never "fit in" with the modern day Hardstyle crowd, nor do I want to since they do not stand for what Hardstyle used to stand for.

@@user-qb4ve8hu8e You're absolutely spot on about the true hardstyle fan litmus test and how majority of the artists have shifted away from the original edgy/raw yet cathartic/euphoric sound and feeling in favour of a diluted, commercialized, and often predictable derivative which just feels forced and trying to appeal to the average pop listener, especially with song structures constantly trying to chase/force the drop and sound design between artists becoming more and more similar for listener familiarity and also to get songs out quicker. However it is important to keep in mind that this is a consequence of the producer/artist and audience feedback loop, where the audience (at the time) had responded favourably to these changes and experiments from the producers, indicating a shift in taste from producer and audience alike. I can't say that the scene would have deteriorated as a result of the producer not been willing to experiment, but I can definitely say that parts of the audience would have moved on, regardless if the sound had changed or not, seeing as an audience's tastes are constantly evolving; only the die hard fans like you, myself, and many others still faithful the original sound, but now being the minority in this audience. So what is the takeaway message here? Stay faithful if the sound truly resonates with you (I've got an upcoming release that has the classic sound and feeling written all over it) but also understand that an audience's tastes are constantly changing. If you find someone or a group that appreciates the sound as much as you do then be sure to take the opportunity to invite/join them; niche audiences will never grow or remain strong otherwise.

@@pregfcbankingculture You make a fair point and I understand where you come from. Yes, taste changes but in my case my taste has actually gone backwards. I have always been a fan of pitched kicks but in the recent couple of months, I've found a new appreciation for Hardstyle without pitched kicks. I have even been listening to some old (2005) Antifact releases as of late. I am not against change, what I am against is blatant commercialization and lazy copy & paste productions (aka the majority of releases today). I can list some examples where modern day (2015 and onwards) Hardstyle is done right (imo): The Pitcher - Dreamers is a modern track that has great drive and great vocals. Doesn't sound like classic Hardstyle at all but it has drive and energy and that is what matters. Sephyx - Creation Of Fire is from 2015 but reminds me a lot of the classic Hardstyle. D-block & S-te-fan - Antidote from 2017 is another example of a modern track with vibes from classic Hardstyle. E-Force ft. Nikkita - Illusion from late 2015 is basically Rawstyle mixed with 2010 style Hardstyle. Malua - Hit 'M is another example from 2017, modern mixed with oldschool done right. Betavoice - Ready4This (A-lusion Remix) from early 2015, great mix of something a bit more modernish with oldschool. Psyko Punkz - Born As A Rebel another fantastic track from 2016. Da Daze - Never Stop The F#cking Rave from 2019 is great too. The problem is that I've had to pile through so many crappy releases just to find these golden nuggets. I gave up around 2019 because finding these golden nuggets became a tedious chore.

@@user-qb4ve8hu8e I agree that the creativity in recent years has been lacklustre. And I think with the commercialization/expansion of a genre, you are bound to find more followers/copiers than pioneers. The commercialization also explains why producers are inclined to use the same sound design and shortened song structures to speed up the production process; it results in more frequent releases, thus allowing the producer to stay relevant in an increasingly saturated market of artists. But we have to keep in mind that it's just been under 10 years since hardstyle became commercial. Maybe, just maybe, these emerging artists that have yet to find their sound identity and are learning from every new release, will usher in a quality release or two that influences the scene to favour creativity and unique artist identity once more. Maybe then we won't have to plunder through as many songs before finding a quality, unique release. For now though, I'm staying optimisatic and I'm going to keep on producing tracks that evoke the classic feeling with both modern and classic sound design; partially because I want to influence the scene back into that creative direction, but mostly because the classic feeling resonates with me a lot. Great track recommendations by the way! You have good taste :) Do you have Insta or Discord? I'd like to stay in touch.
this remix has no soul. The kicks may sound good, at least some of them, and the qlimax is nice, but the arrangement and the *ANOTHER FAKE DROP, COME ON* used is really nothing special.
