Seven minutes in and I am already completely lost. I was born without a craft gene at all. There will be no woodworking sadly. Still I am fascinated by it, and I came for that gorgeous green paint I saw in the thumbnail.

Exactly what i needed to see at the moment i needed that kind of help! I need a 21 inch long bench, cant find one, soooo probably have to make my own. Perfect instruction!

I did something similar with a double head/foot board for my daughter a few (9 or 10 years) ago. To simify the process, I used a set of small end tables as the separation, putting the drawers on the outside so she could store socks and such in close proximity and to the storage unit. Between each side in the space between the back of the cabinets, we stored blankets and bedding which was accessed with a hinged lid. She still has it in her daughter's room!! It warms my heart when she tells me about people who compliment the unit! She has added a modified comforter on the top to make it comfy for naps and watching tv!

Thank you so much Rose! Would you believe that took the longest to brain storm, where did I want the lid to sit, did I want it flush or sitting on top? I think sitting on top was the right choice :) It helps highlight the like "keyhole space in the front"
