Thank you buddy! I was not sure about the worth of this boot, this review was really helpful ! I'm about to order them and will test them out on Saturday !

By the way, this boot has a very nice flex rebound. You can push it forward but when you let go, it bounces back. More so then other boots I tried at the store. Even at 110 it felt as stiff as this other Lange boot I tried at 120. But then this Solomon at 120 was noticably stiffer than both. Interesting how this stuff varies, I read about it but never felt it myself.

Glad I found this great detailed review as I just picked up 110 model today. I'm new to boots with customizable options. When it comes to footbed molding, liquid fit and all that, if the boot just fits well and feels good, do you really need to mess with it?

Yeah if the boot feel good right away, just go for it. It just gives you the option to tweak these easily later. I would recommend replacing to a footbed from the stock insole though.

@@PatriotFootbeds I was thinking just ski in it a few times and then decide. The guy at the store thought the stock insole is pretty decent. Good enough to try the boot first and see what, if anything I'd like to improve on. Cool, thanks a lot man.

Thanks for a great review. After watching the review several times, I ordered a pair. I have a narrow foot and the 98 mm last really appealed to me. Unfortunately, the last size changes with the size of the boot. In a 275 the last goes to 100mm and does not provide the fit I am looking for. Just wanted to add a little information to a great review. RJD PSIA 3, USSA coach.

Could someone please tell me the length of the shoe for the 28/28.5 size. I need it in millimeters, please. It should be in the inner sole side of the shoe. I would be immensely greateful.

Hi! Nice boots overall, as explained! Just wondered how exactly does the cuff alignment work with those centered taps?! Most boots have excentric taps, so when you rotate there is an axis change. How does it work with nonexcentric such, and to waht degree do they change any angle?! Thanks and regards!

I bought a pair of the these and was fighting for comfort, had the insole shaved down for a little more room. Wondering now if I have a size too small

You mentioned the firm plastic over the top of the tongue as a negative. How do you deal with with a pressure point at the top of the arch? Would cutting out a section of the plastic be an option? I have the LYT 130 and have had some mild discomfort there. Any significant fitting differences between the LYT and Formula? I only did a heat mold on the shell for the LYT and I was suprised how well that worked in itself with my bony navicular.

Yes, I would usually mold the liners first. If an issue still exists, I would then cut a window in the tongue here and replace and seal with a Sidas ICP foam and tape. The LYT is quite different from the Formula is plastic wall thickness and liner. You might be able to get a good result with less drastic measures in the LYT.

@@PatriotFootbeds Thanks for the reply. At this point I've already got 100 plus hours in the boot so I assume heat molding won't really result in much improvemet. FYI, I did just get the Formula boots and it felt relatively comfy out of the box. I actually didn't feel as much pressure on top of the boot, although I suspect it could feel different after inserting the same footbeds I have in my LYTs.

Just subscribed. I have very high arches,hammer toes, narrow heels with right foot slightly smaller than left. I wear 10 wide in street shoes. What boot would you recommend. I had Strolz but didn’t like them

kinda reminds me of the old vector series

I saw a SALE on 100 model, do you think it's to soft or for a skier that loves riding out of track on the woods I wouldn't notice? I don't like to ride on hard tracks. Thanks!

Yeah these are actually quite stiff for the rating compared to other boots. Id say the 100 is still solid enough for most intermediate growing to advanced skiers.

Thanks, instep height is decent. Liner plays a big factor in this one.

Not too much. Just a bit stiifer plastic in the 110
