Housing costs will come down eventually, but for now; get your money (as much as you can) out of the housing market and get into the financial markets or gold. The new mortgage rates are crazy, add to that the recession and the fact that mortgage guidelines are getting more difficult. Home prices will need to fall by a minimum of 40% (more like 50%) before the market normalizes.If you are in cross roads or need sincere advise on the best moves to take now its best you find an independent advisor who knows about the financial markets.

This is exactly why I like having an asset manager look over my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitabIe downward turns, their skiIIset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utiIizing a manager for more than two years, and I've made over 85% of my initiaI deposit

Makes no sense to pay down super low interest debt early. I pay 1.5% on my car and get 5% in a high yield savings, why would I pay it off?
@music9521

@adamseidel9780 if you pay off your car that $500/month is money you can put into your high yield savings (or other investments). Also, you save the money that would have gone to interest for the next 4 years.

Simple. Invest the 35k in a high yield savings and the interest income will make the Bugatti payment. Just arbitrage the interest rates!

The debt-based system has created an environment where the pursuit of profit often takes precedence over people’s well-being. This has led to an incredible buildup of debt, which can no longer be sustained. The consequences will likely be far-reaching, impacting individuals, businesses, and governments alike.

@@Bethelgal42 yeah well in my situation if I was to ask for advice I feel Dave would just yell at me for choosing to not make enough income to afford to live.( For the record my question would be what is the best way to get a car with a a budget 10,000) and yeah it would turn into a lecture on why I am working a minimum wage job at 36 years old and why it is only now that I can "afford" a car and tell me the simple fact that until I increase my income and work at least 60 hours a week and make six figures I can't afford a car period.
@Bethelgal42
26 күн бұрын
@thewewguy8t88 Save up by finding room in your budget, get a side job for a short time, sell things around the house are some ways to build a "car fund." My husband and I actually just did this. We knew our van was close to the end, so we starting piling up cash in a Savings Account. The account got to about $10,000 before we went looking for used cars in the $8000 budget range. We ended up finding a 2009 used Honda Odyssey through our network of connections for under $4000. My husband did test drive a few cars around our budget though. They are out there. It's possible. You can go it. We are in our lower 40s and do not make close to 6 figures or work 60 hours a week. My husband works 40 and I work 30. Up until 3 years ago, I was a stay at home mom with no income at all.
