I always liked Gary Oldman in the Fifth element, Anton Chigurh in no country for old men was pretty cool too but even better in the book. I think my favorite antagonist/protagonist character of all time though was Bill Paxton in Frailty. If you've never seen it I highly recommend it. Also "The Prisoner" in Jack reacher was pretty badass and very similar to this villain in this movie.

Any person who imagines himself in an authority position who speaks as though he is the "ultimate" power is taking an enormous chance. Just because it has worked before does not guarantee that it always will. This is the main problem with gangsters. Any gangster must also understand that there will always be competition from unexpected sources. Vito Corleone recognized this and was always very "careful' with his words. Gangsters are essentially "warlords." All warlords face competition from unexpected sources. The smart ones are always careful with how they present themselves. Sanjosemike (no longer in CA)

If in fact they did manage to kill both guys, they’d be attacked along with little John’s other people (I’d imagine so for retaliation in killing one of an important person to the Russian side). Maybe an all out war between the factions? “Hypothetically speaking” haha
