This is a completely biased comment. They are both technically Asian based on U.S. census measures, although we all know many people consider East Indian to be a stand alone culture, as each country's culture is different. I honestly think to say " don't expect too much" is just as bad as saying " all men are dogs", both are huge generalizations.

It's not always the case. When someone loves you so much but you don't feel the same feeling, you cannot force yourself to love him/her back the way he/she does. You can try but you'll get tired. In the end, it's always better to be alone but genuinely happy than staying in a relationship for the sake of saving the "relationship" but you know deep in your heart you're not really happy.

Its a misconception that you can't find another person who would love you like someone already does. Because people with similar personalities (16 in total) are similar and would end up with the personality they like if they chose their heart. Its not that hard to love someone you genuinely like. And its not like people end up liking few people. People are always looking out for better partners even while being in a relationship.

I felt the same way. I even wondered if he ever truly was in love with her. Meaning, I am sure he cared about her but she had to chase him and he was just kinda like, "Alright, I guess we can kinda date." But he never felt comfortable saying I love you. I feel like deep down he doesn't see himself with her but she is nice to have around so they stay in each other's lives. Unfortunately, I feel like she keeps hope alive that he will one day realize he is in love with her and come back. I feel sad now...

Look at 2:44 she says that she can't remember every being able to easily say, "I love you" and before that he said he has always had a hard time expressing strong emotions like he needs her in his life. They have known each other for years and they still have uncertainty about how the other feels (which is what they have said) is a red flag. At 5:30 he says that he goes in an out of love, that is not love. Those are warm fuzzy feelings. Frankly, people will save themselves a lot of grief if they just live by this rule: If he or she has been with you for years and can't with certainty that they love you, MOVE ON!

Man, I feel exactly this case in my relationship. He says he loves me a lot but can never move it forward. I think deep down he's never let himself truly think that I'm it. That's why I absolutely had to breakup with my boyfriend last week.

I'm sad and you can see and feel their sadness at the end. It just seems that they are in love but their definitions are more than they need to be. Does that even make sense?

Agree. I believe that LOVE is the only thing in the universe without an explanation. If you're able to make sense of it, is not love. Love is a choice, yes. But the sometimes illogical force inside you that makes those decision, that's the inexplainable part. This relentless desire to make the other person happier than they were 5m ago. Specially when things go south. That's Love.

Dude at the start said he saw his father always shower his mother with love whilst his mother barely responded with affection. I think deep down he has a fear of commitment because of how he perceives the dynamic of his parents. If he does express his love he feels like she will be apathetic towards him so he decides to be apathetic first to protect himself. At least from my very arm chair psychologist view.

Speaking from experience, I'd say that most of us from Africa and Asia have this unique challenge about marrying someone from outside our race and tribe. The problem with it is that we sometimes end up with people who are nowhere near making us as happy as the 'outsider'. It is really sad. Rohan will probably marry an Indian girl in the end to please his parents - but there is no doubt in my mind that Aria loves him very much. And would have made a great life partner for him.

You are wrong. Many Indian men end up marrying Chinese and Japanese women. Lately Korean as well. If you travel to East Asia you will find many mixed race couples with Indian grooms. That’s because Indian men are open minded and Asian cultures share many similar values. Indian men with Chinese women is the most common mixed race couple in Hong Kong and Singapore etc.

They spoke mostly in the past tense, so I figured their relationship had been over for a while. The fact that they were so comfortable in each others' personal space told me they were most likely in love at one point. The video is bittersweet. It shows how the end of something can make you grow as a person. A breakup does not need to be ugly. I love that they still respect and care for one another.

I think the hardest part of losing someone, isn't having to say "goodbye", but rather learning to live without them. Always trying to fill the void, the emptiness that's left inside your heart when they go.

What he says at the end about falling in and out of love kinda upsets me. Love is much more then just a feeling. At the end of the day love is a choice. You can tell they do care about each other, but they didn't choose to make that commitment to each other. So many people go into relationships with the mindset of what they can get out of it for themselves, not with the thought that relationships are to help each other grow as people and to be each other's rocks through life. And with that comes up and downs, but that doesn't mean we should just give up when it's hard to love that person.

Point blank... if you have to keep making the moves on a guy and he keeps having to study, he is just not that into you. If you have been dating for a while and he can't get himself to tell you he loves you, he is just not that into you. It is easy to see this when you are a third party but it is hard to see when you are in the girl's place. Been there and I totally get it. I hope they both can find happiness and love soon.
