Father God it is overwhelming and challenging especially now because I’m homeschooling them so my hours to work are limited. As a single mother I’m barely getting by. The story of Elijah is one my absolute favorites. I first became aware of this story watching a Christian children's cartoon version of the battle between the prophets of baal and Elijah. I was so impressed I went and read the scripture version. That was about 15 years ago. I can read it again and again and not tire of it. Thanks for this version. I can listen while I do other tasks. I was caught up in the life of crime and making lots of money. It was nothing to do but sponsor my bad habits and that of the ones around me. From drugs to fornication and all. I changed my life ever since the beginning of 2023. Moved to a different state and became a Lyft driver door dasher but most especially one that will fast and pray heavily. I feel good as a person but I’m also broke equally and might be getting evicted next week. When you find God the devil will torment you! But I don’t want to go back.
