Wow Dave, loved listening to you explain about the people who lived there. That must of been a beautiful mansion back in the day,if walls could talk.My when you went through the hole to get in the safe,I could not breath, then I wondered how you both were going to get out, thank goodness the safe door opened.Dave this was a fantastic video,I really enjoyed it thank you.Stay safe all of you.❤️❤️❤️

It's really sad to see such beautiful architecture and history just go to decay, such things should be saved if not for the historical value but for the amazing architecture. I could only imagine what it would've been like to see what these beautiful homes would've looked like in they're early years.... I love all the beautiful and old homes that you explore and the history that you tell about them. And I love all the heart that you put in to your explorations. ❤️

The dog listening to that gramaphone on the record player was the trademark of RCA. They made records, record players, radios, etc. On RCA records, under the picture of the listening dog was the statement "His master's voice"

The radio/record player is a RCA Victor. The dog Nipper is a Mongrel part terrier. Born 1884 Bristol England. Died Sept. 1895 England. He served as the model for an 1898 painting by Francis Barraud titled His Master's voice painting depicting an Edison cylinder phonograph. Some RCA Victor Victrolas came with a ceramic 3 inch Nipper.

Hi Everyone, this was a amazing find, & yes all the history should of been saved before the Vandalism took over & ruined everything! Wow so glad 2 of you then went in the hole & jumped down to the safe area & door finally opened to get out! Great info on the story you told of dates & people who lived there! Some of the furniture should be saved as Museum pieces & dishes before everything is ruined! Take care & stay safe in all your abandoned buildings you discover! Love from Rantoul, Illinois USA

As dilapidated as it may be, you can see the grandiose nature of this incredible mansion. Shame about the lost history, books and magical things from an era long gone... Thankyou again for sharing 🙌✌

I would think there would be a historical society of some sort to help restore it. It really has the potential to be amazing. Thanks for going the extra mile to see inside the vault.

This must have been such a stunning home, France what is going on over there. Start restoring your history, when it’s gone it’s gone forever.

A Pigeon Keep! And yes we're making their own wine! That large round ball looking container, I believe is/was used for testing something with the wine..

Very cool old chateau! So sad that's it left to rot, and thanks for risking your ankles to get inside the safe
