ENCHANTED ABANDONED MILLIONAIRE MANSION Hidden In The Woods ~ Fairytale Secret Garden
Ойын-сауық
Today we explore this beautiful Fairytale Abandoned Millionaires Mansion which has mysteriously been empty for about 6-8 years. While exploring this abandoned place we found amazing period features that certainly dates back to early 18th century having it’s very own hand water pump in its utility room.
The house has brass fittings everywhere with beautiful Wrought iron fireplaces in every room.
There is no trace of its previous owner everything had gone, so we came to the conclusion it was circumstances of the building to why they had to move out so suddenly allowing this abandoned house to be taken by nature!
One very strange thing we found in cupboard underneath the stairs on first floor was a list of female names! Were these the ladies that once lived here??
The Enchanted secret gardens out side where huge and heavily overgrown but you could imagine how amazing it once was with a pavilion where they would of spent their lovely sunny days.
Hope you enjoy this abandoned mansion explore as much as we did and if you see anything we missed please leave a comment.

A beautiful old house, added onto by the looks of it in places. The 'other staircase' would have been for servants or staff only to use, so they could get to everywhere in the house out of sight. The bars on one side only of the window are for that side to be open during the day or in hot weather and the kids don't climb out as it was probably a nursery or child's room. The top floor would have been for servants or staff bedrooms. The kitchen had a scullery attached but didn't see a walk in pantry or food storage for such a big house. A bit of advice from Granny 🙂 when you are walking in the woods or even exploring inside these houses, sound carries more than you think!....your voices would have been heard 3 large fields away, neighbouring properties you think are miles away can still hear you so alert the police if you are on private land. So just be aware. Thanks for this explore, good to see Mark out again 🇦🇺

The names of the girls in the closet are probably servants who slept up there over the years. I agree with an ealier comment that the rope would have been used as a fire escape. Beautiful find.

Good to see Mark back out exploring! This house is beautiful done up it would be gorgeous!! it’s kind of nice to see a building with no furniture in so you can fully appreciate the architecture I’d guess from the style it’s mid 1800’s I love that nature is protecting the house by surrounding it with thorns

@George I like their sense of humour when they’re together it’s my kind of silly humour, I can see why everyone might not like it though
I LOVE this house--so many lovely features, especially the window seat downstairs with bookshelves built in on either side. I think the older parts are from the late 1800's and then maybe addition added in the 1930's and that literally open bathroom in the 1980's or even later. I'd live there:) Please research and add some history.
The roap was used for an escape if their would have had a fire.Great fine bro very interesting to see. FIREMAN
The small house you came across looked to be a Guesthouse or maybe a caretaker's house. With a house of that size, they most likely needed a live-in caretaker for all the odd jobs needing to be done. Wealthy people rarely get their own hands dirty with lawn work and minor repairs. That stone cottage is beautiful. I was amazed that the greenhouse still had its glass intact and all the gates were all still there. That stonework on the cottage had to be early to mid-1800s. The interior may have been updated at a later time. For there to be an outhouse built there it must be at least 150 years old. And seeing how overgrown it was it had to be abandoned for several decades. If someone put some love back into that home it would be so beautiful again. You can see by the way it's been kept over the many decades that it was well-loved and lived in. I'd buy that place in a heartbeat and restore it if I lived there and had the extra cash. That would be my summer country house. The reason that addition looked out of place was that bathroom was added much later after the home was built. It collapsed because they used modern materials. It was just weirdly out of place because of where they chose to build it. When that torn bush dug into your arm I got squeamish and could feel it all through my body when you pulled it out. I've had many huge thorn bushes dig into my flesh. It brought back bad memories. I'm glad it didn't wrap all-around your arm.
What a amazing beautiful house, it does look enchanted. That water pump reminded me of the Oak Manor one, that copper cylinder could be a filter. and having running water still can't believe it. That little sink with matching tiles downstairs is so pretty and i loved the arched windows and shutters, it would have been so nice before the decay. Having those names in that lockable cupboard was creepy. If you do decide to stay over night you all need proper masks on guys x. Great to see Mark and his humor back on the explores, you take care and stay safe xx
The attached rope in the attic is for an emergency like a fire, you open the window and throw the rope out then climb down it to escape.

My God it's beautiful in there. The house is some kind of dream house with a beautiful overgrown garden. Never ever have I seen an old hand pump system still in a house. That wallpaper and carpet has to go. That staircase is beautiful.
Saw the Red Duck upstairs at a window. This brought me back to my childhood when on holiday in Ireland, and exploring places and walking through overgrown gardens. Great memories for me.

Really doesn't matter to me that the house is empty. I loved looking at the unique architecture, windows, cool floor plan, odd shaped rooms, the built ins, loved the old tub and sinks. Love, love, loved this house. Thx for sharing 😀

Yes Paul should start his own channel he has a wonderful sense of humor!!! Would also love to see you guy's do an overnight somewhere if not here! Much Love to all ♥♥♥♥
That's a vacuum pump in the kitchen, stops the water going backwards into a well, no priming needed (water on demand). As for the long aim toilet, girls names on the closet wall and the rope attached to the wall nothing of a non disturbing nature springs to mind. Another great explore thanks.
You guys are amazing, I only watch your explorer channel, it's the best, and I tell you what, if I pass away and you end up in my house looking through my knicker drawers, it will be an absolute honour, and I will be cheering from heaven! 😊

What a lovely old house....I bet it looked amazing back in the day when the grounds were well kept. Sad that it's just been left to rot away now. Great explore as usual guys.....thanks 😉
Sometime people secure ropes by the uppermost windows in a home as an escape if there's a fire. Not sure how effective it would be. Love your channel!
Loved this house, its quirky layout and how nature was taking over it

Hi from an old stomper from Long Beach! (North). 🙂
The Secret Garden, a great movie. Stay positive, and keep filming! Absolutely love your videos and accent as well as your mates! As far as the date of this home, looking at the structure as well as windows, along with staircase, its somewhere in the region of the 1890s to 1920s.. The brass casing off the pitcher pump is the same as or "replacement," of the shaft of a picture pump used today. Its where the pistons would be located. This type would have been used more so in barns rather than homes. Bars on a bedroom window served as drying racks, imagine a bowl n pitcher on the sill an have a morning face wash, hang the towel n open the window for a dry towel for the next use. The clover like holes in the top of the door is known as quatrefoil, a symbolism of Christian s. The was used as far back as 462 AD in the Islam rebirth era..the Monastery actually used the Symons in stained glass windows as 4 overlapping circles.

This is so amazing. I would even take on renovating it if I ever had the funds. I would love to live in a home with a exterior taken over by ivy.
Beautiful old house
An overnight seems to be calling? How amazing as the Loos appear reasonably modern and did anyone notice that the wallpaper, despite the obvious age decay, was not 'peeling' off the walls? Amazing Place 💜 Thanks guys ✌
Beautiful house - way -way older than 1900; the windows & wainscot (wooden half panelling) are typical Georgian but some parts (height of rooms) looks like late 1600s - often those houses are added to century to century after the original dwelling. The tiles in the kitchen black & orange are Edwardian size plus the ceilings are lower - such a crying shame absolutely gorgeous place! Thanks for uploading - & yes do an all night - if you get a talking spirit bet there'll be some history.

I am old fashioned so for me i wouldn't ecen change the wallpaper...leave it and just live in it...away from people and city life. Just needs fixing up and maintained...just lovely. I love the old big bay windows in the front room...perfect...well done!!☺😂

Felt like an enchanted castle. That was a beautiful house. There must have been a big family living there and maybe several of them were girls. My sisters and I used a closet for our private meeting from a young age until we got married off. Maybe that was the reason for the names on the wall. We had four brothers. I love this house, sorry to see it go to ruin. ❤️as always
Finally I'm able to watch and leave a comment! The mouse pad on my chromebook stopped working for 2 days and magically started working again. This house was huge!! And a little bit creepy. No way it's been abandoned for only 8 years. I'm loving this longer video, I could watch y'all all day. What the hell was Mark doing at the end? 🤣 I love watching y'all have fun and laughing and just hearing the back and forth banter.
This place is so cool. I wish someone would purchase and fix it up. It's sad it's falling to ruin, and those gardens must have been amazing.
You guys and gals are just great. I love how you joke around. Mark doing Elvis he's good!!!😊 Fun time
What a amazing home. You have to do a overnight stay. That place feels eerie
This house was once very beautiful and could be again. I think there is an ongoing legal dangle about the land and house which is why it's left. I'll sift my archives. So sad to see it like this just wasting away.

I'm in tears this house is so gorgeous I would love to restore a place like this!
I didn’t feel any sadness in that house. Someone loved nature and I truly expect the garden would have been beautiful at one time. The beautiful wall paper gave a lot away about a female influence who loved nature
This is one of the most beautiful old houses I've seen yet. The architecture is amazing with the unique windows 🪟 and framing, light coming through. I was trying to imagine what it must have looked like long ago with gorgeous furnishings. Lovely home 🏡💕 The rope is a fire escape. 🔥 You can climb down through the window because that part of the upstairs is so closed off from the rest of the house and up high. I've seen that before in other old homes on the top floor.
What a lovely adventure!! Thanks for letting me tag along! Glad I found you
Could the names printed on the wall have been from the children who lived there? Or maybe the housekeepers? The third floor for servants. Would love some history on this beauty! Wish you would try to get history on these places before the explore. ❤️
Those bars are probably to stop children falling out. They put them on childrens rooms windows & windows that people might be able to climb into.
Thanks for another video guys !
the copper bit might have been there to sanitize the water coming in from the well. it actually DOES have those properties. and folks have known that fact for centuries. but, who knows?
A drone would really be helpful for pinpointing exact location. Jeans, long-sleeved shirts, leather boots for those brambles and briars.

When I was a little I shared a bedroom with my sisters in the attic of the house. My father rigged up a knotted rope in the attic as a means to escape if there were ever a fire, it lookoed very much like the one you stumbled upon.
It makes me sad to see beautiful homes like this go to waist
Omg I love the intro to this one! You showed it and spoke about it like it was truly magical! Such a beautiful home that must have been. So sad it's going to be completely gone one day soon. I love all your videos and can't wait to see the next! ❤💗🥰
that window well at 27+ minutes, probably indicates a stone wall underneath the woodwork. so thats the older part of the house, and also the reason the bathroom is rotting. it was added much later on the outside of the old wall. often they didnt do the work the way their ancestors would have. IOW much better, sturdier, more inclined to last for the lives of the generations to come. i did living history here for several years and learned SO much.
BEAUTIFUL HOUSE!!! I'd L-O-V-E to have a beautiful home like that!!!...Fully restored of a course!!!

Not sure about the price of taxes in Britain or heat prices to heat such a large home etc. But it is lovely and could have been restored at one time to truly have lasted many more years for a family that could have appreciated it. If the roof and electric and basement *foundations* was good it is worth it to be worth trying if takes weer owed, often the banks will sell them for the taxes.

Its very costly to fix the damages to these properties thats why so many are left to rot .you literally need to strip the place back to its foundations to fix the problems. Some of these places are death traps just waiting to fall . And many are protected by English heritage so the job would be a slow expensive process as you have to retore the property to its exact specifications using original reclaimed materials and saving as much of the original property as you can

My mom had helped an elderly man for man years. And he had no relatives so he gave his home to my mom. But some properties people pass away no relatives. Other pass away and it hurts too much to go back, others find property to expensive to take care of their are so many odd reasons. But only people who know are previous owners and the banks.

One of the reasons people abandon these mansions, are the heavy taxes the government imposes on them! I’ve heard stories were people had to sell because they couldn’t afford the taxes!
