Recently bought that Seamaster at retail for the same price(4500). Also why bleep out the price then say what the swap price would be. 🤷🏾‍♂️..

i wouldn't say much better. As an owner of both ive had first hand experience with both. I will say that the omega is in fact better in several ways over the sub but I definitely wouldn't say "much better". Ib certsin ways, like the bezel and bracelet , the sub is better. But to be completely honest , the smp300 is a god damn steal for half the price of the sub. It has way better winding (much smoother), better dial (zr02 vs brass), ans I would argue better finishing on the case because of those gorgeous twisted lyre lugs. The design of the sub is superior though. So is the thickness and how it wears on the wrist. And the clasp with its glidelock is far superior. IMHO get the SMP 300 on rubber and call it a day. But again, for sub ~ 5k to 6k price range, you just cant compete with the Omega. Its soooo underrated. I wish more people knew this. More people are starting to and i think that's why their prices are going up.

How much would a 2021 Omega Speedmaster Professional go for these days? It’s retailed at £6450 but has increased by £1000. If I was to exchange this in (great condition with full box and papers including shop receipt). I love this watch but I want to experience something else and if I managed to save up some watch money again I would add the speedmaster back into the collection.

Upgrading the Omega to the Rolex reminds me when I traded my Audi TT in for my Porsche 911 and the salesman said to me it’s a natural progression and he had traded in loads of Audi for Porsches and as I own both Omega and Rolex I do feel it’s a little bit more special when I wear my Rolex watches

Cheers fellas....The watch market seems to fast moving!. Goldsmiths in Newcastle had 3 Submariners (date, non date and bi metal) along with a sea dweller all in the window and available for sale today!!!! Very unexpected for sports watches to be available so soon. What is going on??

I usually understand when dealer to dealer bleep out price but why would you bleep out a price for a retail customer trade and then give the balance price a minute later--unless there's a third watch in there that the customer traded? Just leaves a bad taste in my mouth...

If you buy a Seamaster at retail in 2023 and part exchange it so soon you will be hosed down. The guy who wanted the Starbucks MK2 should never have bought the Omega first. He left himself no way to negotiate. Good show, thanks

The Omega Calibre 8800 is a beautiful movement and well respected without a doubt. However the 3235 from Rolex does a great job too. We rarely see issues with either of them. Thanks for tuning in

except its not. Every Rolex SS Sports model is still heavily inflated. GMT master 2 is 6-8k USD premium. Sub is still 3.8k to 4.5k premium. Explorer 2 $3k premium. Daytona 15k premium. Even Airking has 3.5k premium. In what planet are you living in that the secondary watch market is dead? Maybe for certina, mido, and Longines its dead. But definitely not Rolex. Hate idiots like youbthat keep saying this lie just because you wish it were true.
