Dad is still healing up from his recent surgery so I ( Kevin) am writing the description. I'm only telling you that so that the rest of the description makes sense. Dad is doing much better after the surgery by the way and recovery is going well. He was told that if you had waited any longer the internal infection would have probably killed him. so the past few weeks have been pretty eventful in the house.
This is one of the jobs we recently did while in Florida. now for context it had been raining for almost 2 weeks and every lawn care guy in the area was scrambling to get all of the lawns caught up. with that in mind while we were driving we stumbled on a local lawn care guy named Vic and he could not believe that we were mowing overgrown lawns for free. he thought for sure that there was some kind of scam. later in the day when we saw him out working he told us that the whole neighborhood was talking about us and that the rumor was that we were undercover cops... hahah I would have never seen that one coming. he said we passed the dope mans house a few times that day. at the end of the day we surprised Vic with a few gifts and he welcomed us back anytime. He was probably one of our favorite parts of the trip and was such a positive person.
I can completely relate to him because for 10 years I ran a mowing route and it's an absolute nightmare to get all the lawns cleaned up after a long lasting rain storm. We loved that we saw Vic out and about cutting multiple yards over the next few days. he had a trailer that he pulled behind his mower but he covered a lot of ground with it. I very much respect people that are willing to go out and work no matter what the adversity is.

I just want to take a moment to encourage you today to keep pushing and working hard. the lord has a great plan for all of us with many great rewards but it is up to us to diligently do the work. if your are a farmer and you do not plant seeds and nurture them so that they grow and produce a harvest you will not have a harvest. So today write your Goals and a plan to achieve those goals. Then tomorrow start the day with a win, beat the sun up and knock out your daily routine.

My son went through an infection and surgery a couple of months ago. He didn't know his appendix had ruptured. He was lucky his body had been fighting off the infection and that he finally went to the hospital. He's all healed. So glad your dad went and got taken care of. Scary stuff. Take care Robert.

I am always a little sad to see the nice weather go away. Then I realize it is sweater weather, and it makes me smile. Nice job on the yard. Vic made me chuckle.
We have double sweater weather and you definitely did not. On a different note, glad Robert is recovering. Topic...Talking about aging colon troubles is not inappropriate. We don't expect changes but aging creates things as pockets where infection can take hold and it does create crisis. Trimming the palms framed the house nicely. Yard looked good. Nice thought to send Vic and wife out for a meal. Good he gave a safety warning about a stolen equipment situation. Excellent gift of a batch of Trimmer string.
After a lot of rain comes sweater weather!! My favorite.

Wonderful content and SO glad Dad is on the mend. Scary stuff when you realize just how serious it was & could have been worse. Sweater weather here in Texas. Mornings especially.
