Could not have said it better. Drives me crazy how people judge what someone else does. Kevin is an amazing person. Kinda. Generous. Family man. Loves God. Just to start. People need to learn to be kind. Support one another. We have lost simple values in being human beings and it shows.

I’m so glad you’re posting. Honestly, the stuff you share: business, family, stuff you’ve learned, quotes and even just your presence online, it makes a difference to somebody. You might get flack for this or that but sometimes there’s a reason you feel impressed to say things. I know you’ve made a difference in my life. God answers prayers often through other people. You and your wife and Dad… all of you have such a light about you. I don’t care that much about mowing lawns, but I love the videos. This channel and The Boring Channel.

I am a Marine Veteran and have had my phases of funk myself.... i really appreciate and think its a good thing you talk about being mentally healthy as a man. Im guilty myself of keeping things to myself when i had others around me who were willing to help but was too stuck in my ways to ask for it. Ive lost 3 friends i served with to suicide since ive been out in 2019 and it really wakes you up to the fact its okay and not weak to reach out to people you trust for support or at least a talk. Sometimes its that one conversation that changes everything.

I have lost a lot of buddies over all the years, but none to suicide. Though I did lose two of my high school classmates that way. It is a very different trauma to deal with, so I feel for you. I see you as a very clean soul (not saying your perfect from sins), a genuine caring soul. Listening to you ramble is very inspiring to me 😜🤔and I am thankful to the Lord above for you being a part of my life. I’m glad you have worked past the head muck (we all suffer from, at times), and I look forward to cleaning out that hard drive. And…Your friends that are successful, have gotten there with your help; I never would have found them without you!! Your wife is an amazing person as well, all the best to the family.🙏🙏❤

Kevin, I’m having a hard time trying to find words for what I want to say. As someone who deals with death on a regular basis I completely understand. There is no shame in taking the time or doing the things you need to do to process what you experienced. Everyone processes differently. You always have to do what’s best for you, and your family. Happy to have you back! I enjoy listening to what you have to say in your videos. There’s something calming about listening to you. You and your family’s generosity is inspiring. Keep up your hard work for the glory of GOD!!!

We never go off course from destiny. If you think about it, it’s not possible. Destiny isn’t a straight road. It’s not even one road. As you were told at the end of the video, turn left to continue with your destination. Glad the clouds broke for you. We all face some dark trials and paralyzing times. Seeing death first hand takes its toll on us. It never escapes our thoughts. Also, for many reasons we just feel a loss of purpose and have to reset or change focus even if it’s just temporary. Sometimes we’re just burnt out. Other times we’re just over some things that require permanent change. No destiny is without its, bumps, bruises and setbacks. You have one of the most unique channels on KZread that delivers first hand, unique experiences. I don’t catch every video, but I greatly enjoy the ones I see. Keep being you. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Yes! The best communication is the ability to listen, not speak. Speaking is the ego at work.

As we go through life changes happen. Some we can control some we can’t. That was a hard thing for me handle. After all I was twenty five years old. Through the years this happened at good times and bad times. I realized this was maturity. Seventy seven years and I am still learning how to cope. You sound like you are learning how to mature, change is good. Don’t listen to the naysayers they are stuck. You wonderful work.

Kevin, this was gratefully received, thankyou 😊. I'm so sorry you are still going through that nasty incident. Not sure it's depression or perhaps post-trauma stress actually. You care about people and that was a hard day to cope with! Normally I don't recommend this, but perhaps you tell your doctor what you've been going through? Sometimes, if you replay a scene over and over and over, not in your head but watching the video, it may help to desensitize the relayed shock you got when you had to deal with it. Whatever you feel the need to do, just do it, as you have a lot of stressors re family at the moment too, that you need to cope with. My prayers are with you brother, you are one of God's special humans and He will be well pleased with you. God bless ❤❤

That was a sad Thanksgiving Day for us, but we gave thanks for having been fortunate enough to have had her for so long. My wife and I are nearing 48 year of marriage. Yours and Al Bladez. While watching you do whatever I think pressure washing. Anyway you went and bought that dog and took it home. That’s something I try to believe I would do. I know take the pup home. I have had several kittens that didn’t have homes. Sadly my neighbors have had mean dogs that hurt my kittens. I only have two left and one is from after the dog pack. But I keep them in my garage now. I haven’t had to say goodbye to any kittens since then.

Kevin, I enjoy listening to your talks. I have a mantr that I started saying many, many years ago. "Don't should on me", basically I got tired of people telling me what I should and shouldn't do. It is my life, not anyone elses. I don't tell others what I think they should do, I will suggest things and tell them to follow their hearts. I am sorry to hear the gentleman passed, but you made his final days a little more enjoyable and that is wonderful. Thank you from another "elderly" person. Glad you are in a better state of mind. I watched the video where you found the person...... it was a hard day for you.

Kevin, one of the reasons that I hit the subscribe button is when I heard Dr. Charles Stanley giving one of his sermons while I was watching you cut incredibly tall grass. Two of my favorite things all in one video. Then as I watched more videos, I was hearing more inspirational thoughts that I agree with totally. I watch both of your channels and your dad's channel. You two are great together. God bless you for all you do for others. Thank you for doing what I can no longer do.

Kevin I have watched you for a while now. I remember that incident when your wife stopped by to see you and even mowed for a minute. I’m sorry you were the one to find that person, but grateful they were found when they were. I’m glad you’re back, I really enjoy your channel. It’s also fun watching you work with your dad. Thank you for helping so many people while giving us entertainment. You’re a great asset to you tube and the world. I hope you and your family are well.

I love this. Kevin works hard , also works with his dad at times, has a beautiful family. . Just shows goodness is in this world. Also has a sense of humor about life. A lot of fun to watch. He does great work, does overgrown lawns, painted a woman's home, planted flowers.Things get away in life, he shows up and helps for FREE, just a lot of work and he does it with kindness and understanding.

Kevin, I'm glad you're doing "talkies" again. 😂. I started watching your channel because as a PK, my dad had me mowing all the neighbor ladies lawns. (well until it interfered with my friend time at the swimming pool. I cut lawns in my bathing suit and stopped traffic. 😂. I still had to cut the lawns, but he changed clothes, helped, defended me, and the neighbor ladies giggled). But the main reason was your talks, the inspirational folks you share, your humor (which I totally get), and your heart. I'm glad you took the time you needed. Its one of the healthiest thing we can do for ourselves. But I sure do hope you continue "the talkies". I've been going through my own dark night of the soul. Not concerning stuff, just reevaluating a lot,...and here you are helping me move through it while you tackle lawns. Thank you! You don't know how welcome it was to find this video today.

P.S. The best marriage counsel my dad ever gave was when he'd ask each of them (separately of course), "Son, do you like her?". Well naturally the fella would say, " Preacher, I love her.". He'd asnwer, "That's not what I asked. Love throughout the years has a lot of different faces throughout life and there are always things that come along to challenge that love. But if you genuinely LIKE her, you can get through those hard knocks." Course he had several people who decided not to marry after that counseling, which was probably a good thing in the big scheme of things. So something I've observed is that you and Rachel genuinely like one another. Same with your folks. Ultimately that, and God, will see you through danged near anything. ❤

Heyyyyyy Kevin, i have gotten into the landscaping bandwagon and my first person i saw was SB mowing. I have since then ventured out to also see Mr 2620, Al Bladz and i saw the collaboration with you guys. I am in awe of you all for the gift of giving that you guys do. The Lord says we are to offer our tithes, gifts and time, to paraphrase, and you guys will totally be blessed by what you give. It also has given me insight and joy in the amount of time that goes into landscaping. So in top of me adding a new live of watching what you guys do and give, it also has giving me extended knowledge. Keep doing what you do❤❤

Thank you for having the person on how to improve myself. I have so many things that are started but not finished I get blinders on bc it’s just overwhelming to think about. I’m going to sit and do them one at a time until I get them all finished. I have severe depression and anxiety for 15+ years and know what you feel. Mine was so bad that I am a suicide survivor ; in 2013. I still fight every day not to feel that depressed again. It doesn’t help that I have no social life and I’m a (or was) a social butterfly but my disability prevents me to go out alone. Keep up your videos bc I really enjoy watching them.

I just found your channel and I'm really enjoying the voice over. And since you're a religious man I thought I would share a quote with you because you are actually speaking about this exact idea in this video and I just love finding people like you in the world ❤ “You have the right to work, but for the work's sake only. You have no right to the fruits of work. Desire for the fruits of work must never be your motive in working. Perform every action with your heart fixed on God. Renounce attachment to the fruits. Be even-tempered in success and failure." You personify this quote Kevin and I'm glad I have the honor to be a member of your audience 👍

Kevin, we all go through seasons. It's important to remember (which it sound like you do) that KZread is not your ministry. You never quit your ministry. You called to help people, and to display the love of Jesus to a hurting world. I commend you for not quitting pouring out His character even when you were hurting. Instead you trusted Him to take care of you while you remainded on mission. I love to watch what you do, but even if you never made another video, you can still accomplish the mission because the Lord who sees in secret will reward you. You are an inspiration. Remain uncomprimising and treating people with respect and compassion. That's the character of Jesus. If you ever come to New Orleans, I'd love to shake your hand and pray with you. You are a light on this platform. Your success is not determined by the almighty algorithm but by the God you serve. I pray you are blessed beyond anything you can ask or think.

I am glad you are back doing commentary, etc. You went through a horrific thing. I went through something similar. I honestly believe that you needed to go quiet on here for a time. If you'd have forced it, you would probably burn out. Then you wouldn't be able to do what you are called to do to bless others. Sometimes we all need to go quiet, to truly hear ourselves & others. On another note, my mom & I are not lawn enthusiasts, but we recently found your channels & love them. Well, we find "The Boring Channel" boring without you, being you!

Kevin I’m glad to see you back, I’ve missed your videos. I totally understand where you’re coming from, each of us have to answer to oneself and yes life does throw us some curve balls at time. The best therapy for me throughout my life has been not get caught up in the negative which isn’t always easily done by focusing is on going forward . The focus on me is keeping busy, and of course my garden is my safe haven, planting, harvesting, trimming and yes mowing I zone out and enter a my own reflective world. Sorry for getting out there for a moment. Kevin you are a special man and the world is better place because of caring, giving and kindness you give back. You do you, keep doing what you do and folks can listen or not listen to your comments that’s their choice.
