Most viewers didn’t seem to understand the situation where Seulki cried to Jongwoo, Seulki before this had heard about Jinyoung enjoying his time with Minsu, and that they seem compatible and his time with her was a different kind of impact. Seulki was in a situation where it suddenly felt like she is in one sided love, she had struggled with this feeling and then she said to Jongwoo “i thought of you” this was the start where Seulki had considered giving JW a chance, bec she now understand what JW might have felt not getting affection reciprocated. She continued that she wanted to win so they can go to Paradise, she wanted to give something back to him, she was honest (her explanation didn’t imply that she wanted to go with JY). She even told JY that she was cheering for JW bec she did want to repay him for all the good things he did for her.

but SK told JY that even though she wanted JW to win the pit fight her eyes were on JY the whole time. SK has no romantic feelings for JW and during the show and the interview afterwards SK never said she liked JW but chose someone who liked her rather than someone she liked.

@@oot007 yeah I’m not saying she liked JW, I’m saying she might felt like she wanted to give something back to him therefore would like him to go to Paradise, she even mention it doesn’t matter if he went with her or not, she just wanted him to go, though JW said he won’t enjoy Paradise if not with her. My point though was that SK felt gratitude towards JW which is why she wanted him to win, or she wanted to win so she can take him to Paradise although it was JY who she liked which is why she told him, I was cheering for JW but my eyes are on you.

Attractiveness aside, I definitely enjoyed the vibe of Season 2's cast much better. They seemed to get along better as a whole and there were some really positive personalities within (Sejun, Han Bin, Seo Eun) that I thought brought the group in a good direction.

The star of Season 2 without a doubt was JY. Not much happened until he arrived and then the game was on with so many girls pursuing him because of his good looks, effortless charisma and strength. As Nadine said "you (JY) mixed everything up".

Seulki's choice has always been Jinyoung, which is why it's difficult to understand why she chose Jongwoo in the final episode when she's clearly into Jinyoung throughout the episode. In episode 9, Seulki told Jinyoung that she was upset with him but didn't tell him why. We knew why because Jinyoung didn't give her assurance that he would pick her and instead said that he was still unsure who he would pick. That is a major reason why Seulki did not choose him in the end.

the comments are so crazy..sometimes I even thank her for being more low profile, imagine her on the networks reading the comments that people make about her, about who she chose or did not choose.at the end of it all nobody knows what really happened to her and the real reasons for her choice, she is an intelligent girl and I believe she thought well about her decision. **I forgot to mention, I find it annoying when people devalue Jong Woo, the guy has his qualities that Seulki might have seen and liked in the end.

I liked Season 2 better, entirely because each cast got so much more personality than the S1 cast (I only like 2 ppl back then). This time it wasn't as cringey and pushed. They may not be as "attractive" as the last one but here you really see how their relationships evolved may it be friendship or as a couple even after the show.

JW gave off such an emotional blackmail vibe. I don't understand how a 25 year old man can cry so much at the littlest things in the span of 10 days. Honestly, besides from JW liking SG because she's pretty --- why did he like her? What questions did he ask of her that would make her an ideal partner in a relationship? I found JY's honesty and questions during the water date refreshing. He made his choice but was worried about the realities of their future. He's not settled and doesn't want to expose her to his uncertainties (eventhough he did...). He told her that it's embarrassing for him to express his emotions. I didn't think his questions to any of the women to be considered red flags. Remember he asked SeJeon about how she feels if a boyfriend went drinking with female friends. Those are legitimate questions you should ask as a couple!?!

It’s okay to have our own opinions. But for me seulki and jongwoo is such a win. You don’t want to date a guy just because of “sexual tension” that a lot of people kept mentioning the most. We want someone genuine and true to their feelings. Straight to the point and know what he wants. Seulki’s her best, free and true self when she’s with jongwoo. Jongwoo knows how to treat a girl and make them feel safe, comforted, and undertood. Sexual tensions usually don’t last for too long but genuiness…No hate but jinyoung talking about seulki’s stability in the last episodes is just😐. Boy is overthinking way too much as if they’re there to look for someone to marry and settle down. It’s a “dating show” means looking for someone who you can click and possibly date after the show.

I know that everyone wants to see that hot couple thing, I understand, I already rooted for many of this.. but I also believe that a relationship that starts with a more relaxed relationship has many chances to work out and many times (from the reality that I've seen) the hots end up not working out at the end of the day because the flame went out and it didn't have nothing else there

Yeah, if JY had enough time with Seulki, we could have seen something. Her mum has given her blessing for JY to date her daughter and she has a high opinion of those in the armed forces. It's going to be SK's loss in the long run with her self forced relationship with JW.

It was a classic case of cut your nose off to spite your face as she wanted a "win" over JY on the show. Nadine is incredibly smart to get a degree in Computer Science and now prepare for Med. I hope this works out for JY and the fact that Nadine's mum doesn't look down on his professional background but warmly welcomes it speaks highly of Nadine's family.

Some important things people here don't discuss... 1) The wrestling match win by Jongwoo was ambiguous at best. There wasn't a clear winner, a rematch was warranted. 2) Sabotage act by Se-jong repeatedly telling Seulki about JY & Minsu. And how they enjoyed and were compatible. 3) Minsu choosing JY again after he told her he wasn't interested. JY wanted to stay and spend time with Seulki.

Inferno was like watching an episode of Air Crash Investigation where a sequence of unlikely events occurred to cause a crash. 1 - JW being socially inept and unattractive that no other girl ever picked him to go to Paradise so he was always stuck in Inferno which gave him 3 days to get into SK head 2 - JY being so popular that four girls were into him and not being able to spend time with SK after their paradise date 3 - Minsu choosing JY twice so he couldn't be with SK 4- The other girls constantly stirring the pot to upset SK with half baked news about JY 5 - SK rejecting JW 3 times and not interested to read his book until she got upset over girls spending time with JY 6 - JW surviving the pit fight by sitting down most of the time and JY flipping JW out but losing at the same time 7 - JY's stumble at the end of their last date after SK put herself on a platter for JY. All he had to do was say yes then and it's game over All of these events had to happen and did happen for SK to change her mind at the last minute

Jinyoung should have been more forthcoming with his feelings. And Season 2 was FAR SUPERIOR.

Summary: JY was the undeniable star of Season 2. Without him the whole season was dull. JY is the guy that guys want to be like JY is the guy that girls want to be with All JY and SK scenes were the highlights of Season 2. SK chose a butler over her heart SK is still following JY on IG.

Jinyoung's fans really be working hard for the worst fandom spot huh...why should Seulki chose her heart so called when Jinyoung couldn't even reassure her and not give wishy washy response even once after she had bared her heart open all the while? he had a lot of chances and he screw it all, only at the very end he came and said he 'thinks' he likes her....she had options and she chose someone who made her feel appreciated yet Jinyoung fans kept trashing Jongwoo. maybe yall are kids that think sexual attraction aka 'chemistry' is everything but a relationship isn't just built on shallow base, that would be a fling. when Jinyoung kept giving vague/inconsiderate answers he's being praised as being true to himself and honest but when Seulki chose who she decides better for her she's said to be not true to her heart...what if her heart just want a relationship where she will be appreciated and not just tell the guy she's interested all the time only for the guy to say idk.... they're both just different people who were attracted to each other but have very different concerns and priorities in regards to relationship. but their fans made them appear worse than they actually were, honestly their fans are their biggest haters. lol

Around Ep 7/8 on inferno YJ asked her if she would chose a guy because he was nicer to her and she would not if her heart wasn't into him. On their last date to the water bucket and back what did SK do? She told JY that he was the only guy who could lift the water buckets by himself. She told JY how good looking he was. She told JY how cool he looked in the pit fit several times. She told JY she wanted a guy with the personality like him because he was always on her mind. That's why despite JW's simping she still chose JY during their last date. It was because of JY response that she then changed her mind. All the girls on inferno knows SK is smitten with JY. None of the girls on inferno react when they watch SK with JW because there no chemistry. It's just obsession from JW and gratitude/pity from SK. All SK has said to JW is how sincere he is, she has never praised him like she has praised JY. Despite JY's flaws he had the most people pining after him - SK, Nadine, Minsu and Seojong and he gave them all up at the end for SK. The only reason SK had options at the end is because it is the girl who gets to choose on the show if there are multiple guys interested in her. If it was the other way around it would have been SK lining up for JW by herself and 3 girls lining up for JY. It was a revenge decision by SK to get one over JY and she goes away with a socially awkward guy with a plastic nose and lips that no other girl on the island was interested in. She's basically cut off her nose to spite her face and her time with JY will always linger in her mind as she has essentially admitted here.

She actually said she has always chosen the guys she likes over ones that like her so those relationships never worked out because she liked the guy more than they actually liked her. So she said this time she chose something different. She decided to go for a guy who liked her more than she liked him meaning that she likes him but not as much as he loves her. All her previous relationships she had were failures because she put in more effort and love than the other party and Jongwoo broke her standards and made her choose a different type of relationship where she is willing to give a chance and grow her feelings for a guy who already really likes her hard. @@elithluxe7568 As per my OP, SK clearly chose JY on their last date but then changed her mind after he failed to reciprocate. All JY had to do was say then "I like you" and its game over. So clearly JW was not her first choice, she got pissed off at JY so JW became her DEFAULT choice. With her filthy rich family there would be no doubt a long queue of guys lining up for her back in the real world so the SK/JW delusion will fizzle out when she finds the JY alpha male that her heart craves for. >"Jongwoos plastic nose? Like almost all of the cast have had some work done" JW nose is a botched up job as is his fish lips. HB had an obvious nose job, YJ and JY look natural. For the girls SK clearly had her nose, jaw and eyes done. SK has soft, rounded cheeks but with a sharp jaw line and caucasian nose. Confirmed by leaked high school photos of her before surgery. Minsu, Nadine, Soe and Seojong look natural and had very minimal if any work done. Seojong clearly has a natural asian nose because if she had work done it would have been unnaturally long and narrow like SK, JW and HB. There's a plastic surgeon review of the cast on youtube and he pretty much says what I think as well.

The problem is that with JW it wasn't calm love, it was just one-sided love and it just doesn't work out. So much so that as soon as they left the program Seulki and Jongwoo talked and never dated. The other, intense love, love at first sight exists and can last a lifetime

Yall really shouldnt give anyone dating advice. Seulki and Jinyoung dont have feelings. They had nothing in common and they never talked about anything of essence. JW is borderline creepy pining after a girl that had no interest in him but was instead smitten over another guy. SK started a bushfire in JW that she hoped to make JY jealous and chase her but instead it got out of control and gave JW hope to continue on. That's why after her paradise date with JW where she friendzoned him, SK on her last date with JY praised him over and over again on his strength, looks, personality and confessed he was always on her mind. SK was desperately hoping JY to confess his feelings and when he failed to do so you can see how angry she is and so she decided to get revenge by going back to her default choice in JW. When SK watches the full show she'll realise that JY never pursued the other girls as they were pursuing him and his mind was on SK for most of the time on inferno even when they were apart.
