As I was watching this video I got a wonderful surprise. When you picked up the cartoonish white truck I didn’t think much of it until you turned it around. When I saw the Archway logo on it I cried tears of joy. My dad was an archway route man. It’s been so long since I’ve seen that logo on a big white truck like the one I had in my driveway all of my childhood years.

Awesome. I love you picked up the photo lots. I always feel a little strange going through someone’s entire life in estate sales but it’s also interesting to see how people lived their lives through their belongings and keeps items out of the landfill. Great video!!

In the past, I generally avoided estate sales as the big company here that runs them charges full retail, if not more. I generally go last day for half off sale. But now, I've noticed there are some reasonably priced estate sales that I've gotten some cool AND reasonably priced items. I agree that there does seem to be a lot of shady dealers in the industry. That Nautica shirt you found was really cool! 🤗

What I love about your content is you are so honest about what you are gonna get for an item. About every other reseller channel always acts like they got a once in a life time haul or pick in every video or in their thumbnails, and they always show the absolute highest sold comp which is misleading. You are right about some shady estate sale companies, most the ones I go to everything is priced sky high and then when nothing sells, the home owner gets a small fraction for everything and the estate company just puts in their store front or online.

Old photos do great in Romania. I used to find them and sell them for a lot of money. Especially military ones.

The apron could be a garden collection apron, with the large pockets. Just a thought.

That wheel cover looked like from an old Chevy caprice. I like finding old photos of cars and camp/hunting type ones.

I like to pick up vintage photo matt frames at estate sales. They typically have the photographer name and city marked on them - I'll put a new photo in them as a gift.

I found a lot of photos from a yard sale in a little town. You know I figured there would be some really cool pictures. Yup there were photos of a car wreck and people stuck under the car and being pulled out by firemen. There were xrays of broken bones, etc. I posted them to eBay and someone, actually recognized the ordeal and the people involved. They bought them so they could give them to a family member. They sold for a pretty good price. I haven't found that many pictures anywhere for sale. I keep looking, though.

There is a women called the photo lady and she goes to antique shops and tries to buy photos and returns them to their families. I actually stopped at a few antique stores this summer looking for photos to help return and couldn't find any. Was all the stuff in the house owned by one family? (I'm not sure how that usually works.) So sad that no one would want the photos.

@@Pencelia I bought the photos from a yard sale and they didn't know who the people were as they got them from an auction somewhere. So many people get rid of pictures from estate sales or auctions because someone died.(usually a grandparent) and the other family members probably have also had the same pictures sent to them in the past and they don't want grandma's duplicates.

I've bought some old photos in a giant bulk buy but I never know how to identify them or what to title them if I did get around to listing them. It's a small stack so they're not taking up space in my storage, but they've just been sitting in there getting older haha

I ALWAYS hit the last day. Picked up a Rushton Rubber Faced doll for $30.00 sold it two weeks later on auction for $305.00. Estate companies and resellers can't/don't know everything. Blessings

I know what you mean about good estate sale companies. There's one around here who usually gives you a deal when you buy a couple things. Without asking. Kinda throws me when I have the total in my head as I'm walking up to pay and they give me a lower number. Keeps me coming back.

It bothers me when estate companies and families sell personal photos. Of course if they're just cool old historical photos, no problem. I have seen them selling actual personal photos, though.

I would call that 90s wide stripe polo Color block is usually large areas of color opposite of each other. Squares, odd shapes, or sections.

@janety.1323 If you don't want your family photos please consider giving to a local historical society. I started researching my family tree and was able to get a copy of a picture of my grandmother and her siblings that we had never seen before. A museum had it in their collection.

Wow those old black and white professional photos would be his ancestors why would those be for sale? I’m talking about the thick stock backed photos you probably know what I’m talking about but others might not. Person probably didn’t know, didn’t care or thought maybe they were inserts in picture frames like they do nowadays but I don’t think they had those in frames when it was only black and white film in 40’s or 50’s. $6 for a rock I can get a rock for free! Just saying a rock I took my kids camping every summer for years and they’d find some pretty cool rocks with fossils or minerals in them that you’d find in souvenir shops. I don’t know why people buy rocks when they’re most definitely free thanks to Mother Earth
